I've seen Split Enz before they became famous. One of the Finn guys gave a show, some excellent acting whilst loony drumming with two spoons (stunning!!), I'll never forget. Oh yeah, the music was great too, got quite a bit fom them.
Toad's sunk to the bottom of some incognito koi pond, and Jetmba is fishing in the same one. I trust they both have a good time.
So you don't hate them after all Annika? I was wrong?
You see this is what becomes of naiiv people. I must stop being naiiv.
Incidentally Steve Irwin is not Australian he is a Twit. That is a nationality all to itself.
God bless the Queen she is a good Sheila and not at all stuck up. :)))
I`m a Polish woman from Poland, quite near Russia, and I think Rich it is no use asking what Russian women think of you, don`t believe stereotypes, every woman is different, comes from a different background, has a different character no matter what her nationality is. You may be right though that women from Eastern Europe are a bit more family oriented and not so demanding sometimes :-). Be careful , anyway. Any mixed marriage can be difficult, especially at the beginning: different mentalities, preferences, ways of doing things, you would both need a lot of goood manners and patience. i WISH YOU LUCK RICH. Well said / put. You summed up good with "any mixed marriage can be difficult, especially at the beginning - different mentalities - preferences and ways of doing things"
So true. Needs much effort and commitment to reach a compromise - on BOTH sides.
Whether Australian - American - New Zealander - English - Scottish - doesn’t make any difference. Accept we (Aussi & NZ) geographically are further from their home country.
Today with low airfares and modern Jet age travel, it’s only an extra few $$ and hours sitting in Cattle Class.
Ania, welcome to the forum. Hope to be enriched, enlightened, and educated by you. It seems there are so many teachers here, and I am honored to be in such good company. I hope it will be as good for you. Blaine
Interesting thread and question (despite the trolls stabbing others in the back) -
Speaking as an American - who just upped and moved 9000 miles to NZ after 30+ years - I can say my "email responses" have nose-dived from 20-30 a week - to maybe 2-3 mails per month - FSU women say "they don't care" where their other half lives - as long as he's Blah blah blah... but that's BS - Proof is in the numbers...
As to Oz vs. NZ - won't got there (except you can have Crowe BACK!!) and get into a fight about which side of the ditch is better... I looked at Sydney, Brisbane, Melborne etc... And spent time there... Yeah, pay is better, more people, more to do (city-wise) - but compared to Auckland - for now - I'll take my cooler weather - mountains and cleaner city...
For what it's worth - I hear there's over 30,000 Russian EX-PATS in Oz and 10,000 in NZ - Don't know if that's true or not... But do know most FSU I've met here - Love it here - Just a long ass haul "back home" - but with stops in Tahiti and USA or Greece - Seems like a pleasant trip for a woman wise enough to see the "big picture" -
So, at the end of the day - and three pages of dribble - Has Rich gotten an answer about what FSU women think if Aussie's??? I'd like to know - But think it has more to do with location (in relation to the FSU) than the man...
Pity about you having to wade through all that 'dribble'. Perhaps you were expecting an instructional book?
This is a forum and it is to be expected.
Frankly the question is a silly one. That is why I parodied it earlier in this thread.
From what I have discovered these ladies don't care where you are from. They marry Australians as easily as they marry Europeans, Americans, Canadians, Hispanics and Arabs. Yes quite a few marry Arabic men and move to Saudi, Egypt and Turkey. This is not an exclusive European/ N. American club.
The only put off I have seen is they don't like black men. That seems to be about it.
