Freedom of speech is a right, but not a host for bad form. Sometimes laws should be looked at with a certain measure of reason and common sense ( which ain`t that common ) When specific wordings are meant in a threatening way,it is not much different then a bully brandishing his firearm to impose his rough "will" upon others. Posturing and sullying is not the way to make ones self understood. It is after all,the reasonability of a man which is respected most-a man who stands for his own opinion without debilitating the opinion of others. You can speak to any American cop in vulgar obscenities,as long as you do not impede his ability to do his job. This is freedom. But if his attention becomes misdirected by a threatening tone while he is attempting to make an arrest, this becomes obstruction. I object to any insults made here-although many guys will play ( it is obvious when they do ) As I have mentioned before,we all have something pertinent to post-but the F-Us are never informitive or enlightening, only when it is baby`s first words, and even that kind of charm burns out after a while.

whilst we have disagreed in the past over numerous things, this time I wholeheartedly endorse your comments re spellchecker and report post button. As you say this is a freely accesible forum, surely that in itself requires a more active policing by it's members.By having the items mentioned would most certainly prevent so much of the insults that get traded.
