I'm getting blitzed daily. Fortunately most of it is deposited into my spam folder. But the few that do make it to my inbox irritate the heck out of me!
Sorry Moscow!!!! I won't send anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol
How are you doing??? Going to Russia soon, if I remember correctly...good luck!!
I don't get any , so it must have been a site you visited, maybe recently
Hey beemer, I didn't realize you were affiliated with the Russian-based Institute of Internal Auditors! I get spam from them and other professional organizations offering tax, auditing and financial accounting workshops in Russia. As a rule, I don't visit such web sites, but they're on target -- I'm a tax accountant. LOL!!!
My trip is on for July, unless I can get her a tourist visa to the US. This will be my 3rd trip to Russia, but first to St. Petersburg.
Do not open uninvited or unsolicited mail from Russia or the FSU. It is likely criminal in origin and will contain hidden spyware, malware or viruses that can infect your computer such as key stroke loggers that collect all your key strokes and records of sites visited including internet banking details or on-line credit card purchases and you may find yourself robbed by Russian computer fraudsters without you knowing it until its too late and your money is gone...never open unsolicited or unknown e-mail..just delete it from your mail server and do not download it to your computer because it can even infect before you open it!
To Moscow
Yes i too am getting swamped with Russian e mail advertising every day. I have noticed it happening since April. I think it is very significant that i am getting these irritating e mails since my recent visits to Ukraine.
i went to Kiev in April and Dneprpetrovsk in March and on both occasions i visited internet cafes in those cities to access my e mail accounts back home in england. it woould appear that owner of the computers in the internet cafe have recorded my e mail address and possibly other information.
I began to receive Russian spam in April as well. During that month, the girl I'm writing to in St. Petersburg began communicating with me from an Internet Cafe as opposed to her work computer. So now I receive a lot of spam from Russian professional associations.
