A tiger is a tiger and a scam is a scam. No one forces anyone into quick marriage, no embassy no government. If you do it correctly the 90 days is nothing more than to see if she can adjust to the new lifestyle and culture, not a time clock to get married. You had better reached the point of comittment before you even apply for the fiance visa. This isn't test driving a car.
Only way the government pushes anyone to do something is if the person is mindless themselves. You think many bad men do this Danny? First of all learn to articulate something rational. I told my wife I didn't care where we lived, it really didn't matter.
Danny, first thing Jetmba doesn't have to do a damn thing to make you look bad.
Aussieman, how many Ukrainian or Russian aircraft have you been on? I'm waiting for your intelligent answer since you were in a foreign marriage with a woman from Fiji.
I have just joined and read a few threads and cannot imagine engaging in any kind of business transaction with Danny3777 that would involve trusting in his maturity and composure, after reading the pissing matches he gets involved in here.
Danny, if I did contract with you for this type of service, it seems if I had a problem or a concern, I can't be sure of getting a sincere and competent response. When it comes to spending my money in large chunks, I'm pretty serious, and it's hard to take someone seriously when they get into the types of battles that seem to follow you.
To be fair, there are plenty of others who bait you (the "master baiters"), but how can you be trusted to make wise business choices in serving real customers when it seems all the master baiters keep hooking you in the forums?
If you had been here to really see the chronologly of the exchanges - you would see that danny himself bated the rest of us 99% of the time. This is not a personality conflict, or a pissing contest - it is a relentless assault on the forum by a single individual.
What may be seen as "baiting" to you of him by others (including Yours Truly) was really responses to things he had said previously.
danny is his own worst enemy. And you would be a fool to do business with him.
With that - I will no longer comment on danny - unless of course, he further comments on ME.
Wow,
Give yourself a round of applause Mr Seattle 1963. Most people can at least make a first post without calling names and you couldn't even manage that and that puts you bottom of the class!
Yes, I agree, they do fly world standard aircraft in Russia/FSU,Martin, especially the larger state owned airlines such as Aerosvit.
The ones that are more of a concern are the smaller private commuter airlines running the twin engine turboprops.
I think they are more backward in the Pacific Islands and take more risks, in the poorer nations, the local small airlines fly these old 2 decade or older twin engine prop aircraft with 20 seats to the smaller airports, the island hoppers so as to speak.
I have flown in some pretty questionable aircraft..the aircraft itself was good such as a De Havilland twin otter 20 seater, twin turpoprop but what they wanted it to do was a bit dangerous such as knowlingly taking a risk and taking off 400 kilograms ( nearly half tonne ) over loaded, been in one of those and prayed it would get off the ground and not end up crashed into the sugar cane plantation at the end of the runway! ( 400 kg overload is a lot for a small 20 seater plane! )
It did take off, but the pilots taxied it to the last inches at the end of the runway, revved it up to max on the props ( the noise was deafening ) and held on the brakes and then they let it roll because it needed every inch of runway to take off..it was a small island airport and did not have a mega long runway.
Seen an interesting documentary "magastructures" on Nat Geo channel about the worlds largest aircraft which showed and talked about the Ukrainian 6 engined goliath, the Antonov and its world wide use carrying the heaviest cargoes, apparently fully laden its takeoff weight is over 500 tons! ( about 40% bigger than a 747 jumbo weight wise ).
That aircraft, the mega Antonov has been to Australia and featured in the Avalon International airshow a number of years ago, held down the road from me here every 2 years and I have seen it and walked inside it there, its huge!
Antonov is, at least in part, state owned but they have aircraft arrested in such places as Canada & Belgium for debts owed by the Ukrainian government, haven't heard of any Aerosvit aircraft being arrested!
Even the small airlines in Ukraine are going 'western' now, Dniproavia have (just about) gone all Boeing & Embraer, Donbassaero have a number of A320's, even 'little' Motor Sich Airlines of Zaporozhye have a nice newish Antonov 140 and slowly the old AN-24's & Yaks etc. are disappearing.
