As mentioned in a previous topic, I'm headed out to Sumy again next week. The question is...
What is there to DO out there?
I've been looking on various sites, and I think I have 100 different descriptions of the population, history and primary exports of the place (all hugely useful in their own right, I'm sure), however I've no idea about restaurants, clubs, cafes...
Seriously, there's just no information about this...
If the worst comes to the worst, I'll just need an internet cafe & a restaurant with an English menu. Any help gratefully received.
Oh, one more thing. I think I'll have to get my lady-friend away from the agency. Any suggestions on how to do this without causing offence? I don't want to go on about them charging too much etc. I don't want to come across as cheap :\
if she likes you she will move away from the agency. so don't overthink the situation. and your right, don't bring up the cost of things.
and i have been to sumy, and there is nothing to do. but did you go there to do things? i wouldn't spend more than three nights there. if you click with the girl you are going to see, then go again in a couple of months for a week.
Muzzy I don't have much information about going out in Sumy though I've been there several times. But I'm sure I can find a guide for you there. It's not a big city so you can spend some ours with this person travelling around and getting all useful information you need. Well, you will pay may be $50 for guiding but on the next day you will feel like a local.
