When you take a woman that has association with her family, in many ways you take them all. If you desire chaos, choose a woman that knows no dignity and has confederates without morals or no no bounds. Marriage is a religious right, regardless if you believe yourself to be sectarian. Many here in America have lost that understanding and try to make a "Silk purse from a pigs ear". If first you do not commit to each other, you have no chance. If her birth family and confederates do not honor your marriage, they are dangerous to you, wife, children your economic survival. Allow evil to be entertained in your life is inviting Satin into your life. Regardless of where it comes from. You, your family and confederates are what she should be concerned with as well. A chain is as strong as it's weakest link.
I'm a great believer taking part in outside activities together to discover some common interests. It’s nice to play, doing things that excite you and give you material to discuss and share.
IMO the fly fishing thing is a great idea. I personally always thought about night classes in dancing for the two of us…maybe some day.
Equality in morals and intelligence is a massive factor in a relationship. You just can’t have a friendship with someone whose standards are lower than yours.
to dansing - I had a five year plan to visit NZ to fish for big browns. A guide I used in New Mexico does off season trips to NZ. They drop you off in a helicopter and you are totally isolated. But my money has been directed elsewhere lately. Maybe within the next few years I will make the trip south. Considering the 'few' thousand I spent flying to Russia and Kiev, 5 grand for a fishing trip of a lifetime will be money well spent. Meanwhile she wants to see Yellowstone in the worst way. She is into the geology part of it - I just want to fish. Next year the Grand Canyon for a couple weeks. Year after that Alaska - I get to fish again! We are in the process of getting her a mountain bike. And a membership at the local gym.
As for taste - nothing beats small brookies from a mountain stream. But I went fishing in PA a month ago and brought home a couple bows and browns - stockers of course - and grilled them for her. They were pretty tasty!
FSUlover --- I have already considered the cost of insurance. I think the money invested in a professional driving school will wash out in the savings on insurance over a few years. I had been researching driving schools for a month now. It makes a big difference in insurance premiums. Funny thing is she never drove an automatic. Only manual transmission her entire life. Good thing I still have the p.o.s. Honda civic. Plus she is forty after all. Although she looks much younger. Them good Russian genes ;)
I taught my Russian wife to drive in 6 months and added her name to my insurance (State Farm) who I have been with for over 30 years. I did not experience a large increase in my premiums; I think perhaps it went up $300 per year. I think it makes a difference if you are totally insured through one company. I have four cars one motorcycle, health and umbrella liability policy all through this company.
But If I had to insure a cave man (dansing) the price would skyrocket!
I have a new car for my lady, but I also have my father's old car for her to learn on. I love her, but she isn't likely to be driving my Fairlane, at leat anytime in the near future. She has never even ridden a bike.
bicycles --- my wife has never ridden a bicycle! but she needs to learn fast. in a month she will be on the trails near Jim Thorpe! Hopefully on two wheels and not just two feet.
Yeah, I think it shouldn't be a problem with insurance either since I have been with the same company for twenty years and have everything through them. If something happens I just make a call and they send me a check. Of course I am not a serial claimer so they know if I call it is taken care of immediately.
I am starting to get annoyed with her :) I like my salad greens but I don't like them chopped into little itty bitty pieces. But yesterday she did use our homegrown radishes in a salad. This week the lettuce will be ready to pick so hopefully I learn her soon to not chop it up.
As for "teaching" her to drive... That is why I think it is best to hire someone to do it. I may lose patience and it's better for her to wreck one of theirs than one of mine. But nice of her to indicate she has no intention of driving my SL.
Frist time here. Like what I have read. My story; I'm on Yahoo personnal page so you can see my profile there. Mid Febuary this lady (picture) sent me a one liner asking me to write her at her e mail. SO I did; we send recieve a letter almost every day since. Yes I have sent some $ to her. I know very little about Russia but she said that she lives in Surok, is 31 years old. Have gotten a few (24) pictures, one of when she was like maybe 14 and then on up to now. Me, I drive truck over the road so I get around the country. She ask where she needed to go for me to pick her up at the airport, so I told her MSP. I can park my rig close by and get a free ride to the airport. So the plan was that she was coming to MSP on the 14 May here in the afternoon. OK great right? WHile I was getting loaded in St. Paul friday morning I call the airlines and they said she had not checked in. So I wrote her a message asking why, e mail. And with in a hour she had written back say that she had passed everything but at the gate they asked to see $3000 plus a fee of $70. I really want to believe her but should I. She has given me an home address but does not want me to send anything to her. No phone to call her. I have looked at some lawyers web pages. I just don't know what to do; PLEASE help Thank You.
Brian, if you are real... and I seriously doubt it, you can send me the the $3000 and I'll personally see that she gets all the money she deserves for trying to scam you.
Ever tried just going to google and type in blacklists for russian girls and I'm sure you will read MANY stories like yours..........
As far as getting FSU girls(young)to US....seems it is easier to get a russian girl a visa than a ukrainian or moldovian girl. I don't know how she did it but a moldovian girl just received a 10 year visa to US.....if she ever gets here(???)I told her I will take care of her!!!! ;-)))
Surok is is the vicinity of Kazan which is the scam hotspot in Russia, asking for money to board the aircraft is a typical bullshit scam, forget it and forget her, trust me!
Lugansk is famous and so is the Kazan area! I guess it is from experience, in the old days I can recall at least one that tried that ticket & visa scam on me, I was even beginning to believe it myself, that her family had supposedly paid for her tickets, her accommodation was sorted ..... and then she supposedly, I say supposedly, arrived at the airport and .....
One thing I have done is worked at airports the majority of my career and I do know that if one's papers are not in order then one doesn't get past the check-in desk (because the airline would get fined) and if there does become a problem of entry in to, let us say, USA then it happens upon arrival to USA and not at a bl00dy departure gate in Russia. :)
One only has to google for 'Russia Blacklist' to read that the majority of scams are the ticket, visa, arrive at airport scenario (I write this to help Brian and all), those same reports were not available back in circa 2002, when my attempt happened, but I do know that how much money one has on them, for entry purposes, has diddly squat to do with the departure airport/country and/or the airline, the airline check the passport/visa and likewise the departure airport immigration, monies to support oneself become a problem at the arrival country immigration, it has been my job to know this for circa 25 years, so no Russian scammer is likely to convince me otherwise! :)
