I am writing to this girl from Anastasia internl & she is also listed on amazing women & I managed to get her telephone number after 6 months of letters but the other day I tried to call her- and phone is swithed off. I got her phone number 2 weeks ago but was busy with work so couldn't call & ofcourse I am using translator to converse. The thing is if she wants me to fly half a world away coz of I didn't call on time than this girl is playing with feelings from day one. I have complianed to both agency & they take no responsibility for the girls behaviour - ie only letters & communication thru their respective agencies is okay.
The thing is you don't know who u r writing to and what will be predictable when u go to meet them - remember soviet union was brought down by us!
Welcome to the reality of how we communicate and as to whether each of you are real and truthful. Formality, suspicion and distrust. Breakdown in communication because of failed infrastructure or unethical agencies. Good luck,,,, I have had it all. Until you do meet and have a mutual spark of interest,,,,,you each will never know....
If one seeks a prospective partner from half a world away then one should expect to make visits, the plural of, to half a world away and not complain that a prospective partner expects (wants) one to travel for the purposes of developing such a partnership!
You managed to get her phone number after six months of letter writing?
IMO if you haven't got her telephone number in the first few days of correspondance, she's not interested.
There is only one reason for someone to have their phone switched off....she doesn't want to talk.
Get your profile onto a non-letter writing site. (One with IM) and start your correspondance from there.
As soon as you get chatting you'll know when the time will come for you to ask for her phone number.
Writing six months worth of letters plus translating is a chronic waste of time and energy.
The agencies you are using are your real problem. Why do folks keep using these known scam agencies?
When you are really prepared to be real serious, then you can actually converse with a real woman. Until then, keep using these scam agencies and the only guarantee is that in the end, you'll have less money.
I'm wondering whose problem the agency is. I mean; where does the legislation exist for dealing with internet based businesses that are effectively selling a product that does not exist.
Just think back to Professor Marvel in 'The Wizard Of Oz.' Snake oil salesman have been doing business since the dawn of time. Or, rather, since man invented greed. That it has evolved with the progression of modern inventions was inevitable. And it will continue to do so. With the projection that the internet will become much faster and available to many more only opens doors for newer and more sophisticated means for one to rip off others. The fact that this is such an easy market - "Meet Beautiful Russian Brides" - makes it ripe for so many unscrupulous people to take advantage of others. And until the desperate(and gullible)men of the world become more educated in the facts of this business it will continue. There is no way to police this business and enforce international law because it is such small potatoes compared to many other fraudulent schemes. Just as in the American court system. The courts don't have the time or means to deal with most of the petty criminals so they continue to be put back on the streets to make a career out of crime. It all boils down to the old saying, "Let the buyer beware."
So beware people. For every authentic and well meaning lady hoping to find love there are probably thirty or more who are just trying to make a buck.
i think 5 years ago the fbi launched an investigation into anastasia. I think about the same time they moved their head offices from main to moscow.
nothing ever happened. obviously.
my guess is, its difficult to actually 'prove' a scam when it comes to matters of the heart.
so the dating industry is actually the perfect industry for scamming people.
i think bride.ru and elenas models, are the ideal websites to meet someone. because you don't pay per letter. does anybody know of any other good websites?
tau2 and UkraineDate are good non-pay-per-letter sites but scammers run on them also. Always create a second profile of someone that looks and talks like dansing and if they respond favorably to him then you can suspect they are scammers…
I am not shopping, because I already have a gf. One thing I have noticed is everyone is telling how good or bad such and such a site is, but you are neglecting one site. How about fiance.com?
I had a brief correspondance with a lady from Fiance.com. 4th letter or so I asked for her email address but she insisted on continuing the letter writing shenanigans for a while longer. I was fairly new to this but not entirely green having been a candidate for a "pay for my internet expenses" routine previously. (On another site) I believe she is still on this site and assume it's her job.
That was a number of years ago and the one and only time a did a pay for letter excercise.
I'm only saying this as ... can't rememebr how, but I found the letter writer profile just by chance...turns out she's a scammer.
In the few weeks/month (ish) that I subscribed to fiance.com a number of years back I had a similar experience of ladies insisting that communications continue via the site rather than via email, I couldn't understand it if the agencies only receive a few cents per letter but there must be a reason.
But the scammers, when I tested it some years ago, tend to be the independent (non agency) ones so obviously the affiliate agencies vetting does work to an extent, to test the scammers and/or multiple profilers then these ones normally have a pre-prepared profile that they copy and paste from site to site, just copy and paste a paragraph from their profile and run it thru Google to establish which other sites that same profile may be on.
