The past few days of this trip have been business related, not with a lady? She was partying also, how we got in to the party was when another lady, a friend, by then she was already as drunk as a skunk, invited us across to join in, it's said that the best parties are the ones that are not planned ... this was certainly one of those :) Ralph, the waters are crystal clear and warm there, diving etc. are big things there, alas my reason for not partaking is because I cannot swim ... fair enough excuse? I've moved on now, a boat to another city, there wasn't one 4 wheeled taxi in that city so I had to take a bus to the city where I am now, another aeroplane ride to yet another city coming up in a few hours from now. Then look for a group hug. The thing that always strike me funny is some guys want to talk about scammers and that's not what this forum is for. I jumped Martins ass a few years ago for posting a womans name on here. It's like RB's lame argument, he knows without a doubt this woman, Chrissian is not a scammer. That's like taking advice for not drinking from an Alcoholic. RB has been fucking around on this forum for quite some time without any results whatsoever except to whine about some woman who took him for money, then turns the table and tries to obfuscate the situation by saying, well she had I child and he was the benevolent giver. To that I say bullshit. If guys quit sending money to these women they wouldn't get scammed, when the woman figures out the guys not right for her, they cry foul and categorize them as scammers. I got in an argument with Olga regarding posting scammers profiles on the forum, no one but the two people involved know for sure if it was a scam or someone trying to buy affection and getting turned down by the woman. By the way Ralph didn't you know I ran this forum, according to imbeciles like RB and Danny I work for Fiance.com. RB is too ignorant to go back and read how I knew Martin wasn't married, because he knows little about Ukrainian culture and the laws but he will pipe his mouth off like he's some experienced traveler here and he knows everything. He's been scammed, he's been robbed in Ukraine how stupid can one guy get? My fiance is UK im USA. We have been together (not as together as we'd like to be though) for 2 years now, an we have MoRE than ample proof of our relationship. Last we were physically together was for 6 wks from feb-march of thsi year. he works on a boat as a stewar, making over 2,300 pounds a month plus tips. He works 6 months on six months off and has more than ample funds to support the both of us if we are given the fiance visa for me to come over. Currently I am unemployed and no savings-but from what I understand they only really look at HIS income. We should have no problems there. The major problem im having though, is trying to understand about accomodation for me when I get there. He lives at home with his mum and nana-its the same home he grew up in all of his life-he has his own bedroom, and the house is huge. He is not on the lease, however-but his mum and nana rent the place. Our problem is this-since he is not on the lease but has proof that he actually LIVES there, and his mother wanting us to stay there for the first six months, wont it be enough for her to write a letter on his behalf that she welcomes us to stay there til we are married? Thats less rent we would have to pay. Otherwise (and this is no problem-its just tha the is going to have to try and find a week off to get home and do it)-is that he is going to have to scramle to get an apartment for us before I get over there, when he has a perfectly spacious, sound place for us to live in. Wont a letter from his mum be ok? Along with his bank statements that he can support us both? We plan to have our ceremony on the 30th of october-but we havent made any invitations or plans to that end because if we do, adn im not granted the visa, then we wasted the money for the event. Truly it almost a sin how perfect we are for one another-and everyone in the UK that i have met in his friend and family circle have been holding their breath right along with us just waiting for the day we can be together forever. What should we do? Get his mother and nana to write a letter that we are accepted there? and if so, should they give the details of the house? or should he scramble and get an apartment? also my not being employed (Its Clarksville, TN-the armpit of the south-and scarce jos) shouldnt be a problems should it? as he makes more than enough to support us? Ralph, Subic is where I learned to Scuba dive, I got so sick of the BS in Olongapo amd Subic City being out there every night in that mayhem. I had to find other entertainement. Your fella won't get much sense out of, if he tries to talk to, the relevant govermental department in UK, many years ago I got some good, somewhat off the record, advice from an overseas British vice-consul, I suggest your fella communicate with your most local British consulate, they all have email addresses available on their websites, and just ask for sound advice how to proceed with the application, it's worth a try but they like to hear from the Brit and not the prospective partner of the Brit. As I recall he will need proof of ownership, or a tenancy agreement, as proof of a place you will live. Sometimes the British government can be so stupid, so black and white, why not play stupid, his mother provides him with a tenancy agreement and he pays her a monthly rent for renting from her, they'll also want to see bank statements including these monies going from his account each month. A supporting letter from his mother might work, but it might not, he, not she, is supposed to be sponsoring your application. I am not such the bad guy as others like to make me out to be, even my ex fiancee’s (now) husband, who despises me for exposing his wife as a scammer, posted, admitted, on this forum circa August 2009 that I am a funny guy, he would have received this information not by speculation but by first hand knowledge from his wife that I had a 2.75 year relationship with. Yes I do have an excellent sense of humour, one that matches the Filipino/Filipina sense of humour perfectly, RB’s family probably were deported for being boring bastards, and these past 2 weeks I’ve just had a ‘ball’ laughing my way from one situation to another. There is a saying in life .... “one can laugh or one can cry”, I’m the one that likes to laugh, RB is the one that does all the crying! I left the island yesterday morning, in the 5 days/4 nights I was there I made some GENUINE friends, I’m missing them already but we’re going to maintain contact with each other. We just had a ‘ball’ of a time, particularly with the 22 y/o Filipina resort owner, like most Filipina’s she likes to have a laugh but she is also mature beyond her years. We had a lot of laughs but we had some, many, serious conversations together also, on our last evening she told me that I’m a really nice and genuine guy, she said many other nice words about me also, I’m too embarrassed to repeat them here but, suffice to say, we are really good friends, her and her boyfriend, and I. I made a recent comment regarding ladyboys, DD jumped down my throat for it calling me ‘sick’. Well on this island these people live in, often, one room wooden homes, they have no sewerage or running water, they collect their water from a communal tap in the dirt street. The island’s economy, in the main, relies upon fishing, these people will go out in their boats 365 days a year just to survive, for approx 50% of our meals there my girlfriend and I opted to eat seafood to support such a meagre economy. Indeed on the 3rd day there I decided to buy all the Filipina resort workers some chocolate just for being so nice and running around for us, buying my cigarettes and a significant amount of chocolate at the local kiosk shop, I had been chatting there with some of the locals, the Filipina shop owner asked where I was staying, telling her she said “It is expensive there, you are a rich man”, as quick as anything I replied “I was rich until I came to your bloody shop”, her and the locals just fell about laughing. Indeed checking-out of the Butuan City hotel this morning, I was sitting in reception waiting for my taxi when a 5 (ish) y/o girl came to hold my hand, her mother and everybody else were laughing loudly, then she blew me a kiss, I blew her kiss in return, then she put her arms around me and kissed me on the cheek, even the reception staff, trying to do their work, were laughing loudly. These people lead such meagre existences, sure I can act the comedian if it brings just a little laughter to their otherwise ordinary days. Indeed, the taxi recently dropped me off at this Manila hotel, the driver didn’t know where the hotel was so we had quite a banter in the car whilst I helped him with directions. As we pulled up outside the hotel I confirmed with him that the meter read PHP246 (approx USD5), he joked that that was without the tip, I joked back “OK, that’ll be PHP247 then”, he just laughed as I gave him PHP300! OK, we have idiots on this forum, in the main Raging Bullshit, the Dyslexic Dynamo and that other idiot TINTIN who, more recently, posts under a number of identities including fredricko and Snart Martin, I’m the happy and positive guy here, why should I be subjected to such nonsense from such no-lifers, I don’t seek popularity on this forum, I don’t ask to be judged, I have a fantastic life, if any are to be judged then judge the no-lifers who, apparently, have no other life than to attack others with unsubstantiated nonsense!
