i have a felony on my record ,back in 2004, i was given probation for 7 yrs but off a yr early, last yr. Even though I did not do the crime, and wanted 2 fight it, my court appointed attorney scared me into pleading no contest. Never did i realize what it would do to my life.i want to apply for a U.K. Fiance visa, will I be approved?. I went to the U.K last yr in December and just got back in June of this yr, 2011. I was almost there 6 months. He came here in The United Sates last yr in August,September 2010. I have never been in trouble or picked up a case of anykind since my Probation. I'm not a trouble maker, now as far as having bounced checks in the past, thats about all the trouble i've been in for misdameners. My x father in law punched my face and in the moment of it all, i think i might have scratched his neck, but not sure if i did it,i just reacted in a quick moment, not even sure if he did it to himself?
Even criminals in prison have been allowed to marry, though I don't see why. Their time together is obviously severely monitored and restricted. I have not read nor see any reason why they would deny your fiance's approval. The only thing they will ask you to do is full disclosure of your history with the law.
