"Probably not, but I can see the difference between English and whatever crap the American nation utter" Whatever dude! Let us know when you need/cry for our help on another War Wold ; even after fighting 2 IDs, 1776 and 1812. Btw, cheers
Gents, I agree with sir Martin...the grammar is just a bit different but that does matter if you set the correct rigion language on you PC/ Table/ phone. Example: English: UK or English: US. ..Spanish: Sp or Spanish: Latin-Ame ...
Thanks to my UK tour, my vocabulary was forcibly upgraded to "keep up with the program" here.
The accent and how things are said and called gives out where we are from. This is a no-brainer, that every language have this characteristics.
Omg, lonely do you think before writing something??? there are a lot of guys on the streets who are looking for a girl, so don't let your girl go outside!!!
How can you live with her if you don't trust her?
... it's the meTRic system, not the meTERic system!...
I agree but it's not cen-treh (centre) or thea-treh (theatre) either. Living in Detroit and so close to Canada I see these spellings often plus we receive their television. (That's telly to you, Martin.)
I once worked closely with two guys, one of whom was from London. He still pronounced schedule without the "k" sound. The other guy, in a joking fashion "corrected" his pronunciation. I immediately started finding words with "sch" in them and purposely mispronounced them just to pile on. "When you were a child, did you go to shool (school) in a shooner (schooner)?"
I'd have no issue to teaching English to Ukrainians nor with the differences in spelling or vocabulary. I thinks it's interesting. And I do agree that it would be an interesting way to meet a suitable young lady.
While I know that there are “upgraders” everywhere,,, I am mostly mistrusting of the men!
During all of my trips abroad, I have witnessed men at their worst behavior! Guys with no class and no manners, trying relentlessly to date, or just sleep with any girl they encounter. Most of the guys heading for the FSU, are just there for “fun and games”!
It isn’t just men from the west,,, but from the middle east too.
Is it wrong of me to not want her, to have to deal with that for a couple hours a day, five days a week, for whatever number of weeks??
Looney, you are a loser. no one in Ukraine wants you. your pinky dick is too short, you last 30 seconds in bed and hoped that $2000 shopping sprees could overcome that. But it did not.
Why would Ukrainian girl want a bitter pathetic guy who lives in the past and through the lives of others???
You block moyarishka simply because she is friends with me even though I DONT GIVE A F**K about your pathetic life and wouldn't waste
my time to look at your page.
If you had even one ounce of something to offer a lady then you wouldnt be worried about other men. What girl wouldnt want an upgrade from you???
you are a "bag phone" from the 80s in an Iphone 6 world
Rick,,, You know absolutely nothing about me,,,, and ALL of your insults just proves this. You lie and insult anyone who questions you,,, then you spam the forum hoping to make yourself look useful??
I’ll block anyone I damn well feel like,,,, and it wasn’t just about you.
Rick: “If you had even one ounce of something to offer a lady then you wouldnt be worried about other men.”
Who the hell is worried about you?? I couldn’t give a sh!t about you,,,, it’s your involvement with others that’s a real problem.
You write about dating women in Ukraine,,,,, but it’s not women that you are dating,,,,, it’s 15-15-15-16 year olds.
Then you come to the forum to recruit men to rent your apartments,,, etc, etc,!
"I can understand that feeling Durak. When my ex wife started talking divorce in 2006 i started looking around at options and supposed since
Ukraine was a good place for me anyway I focused my initial search there. Even knowing the way of life, culture and such still didnt prepare me for
the "agency experience". I got my hopes up a few times only to have them crushed when meeting a girl in real life and yes it stung."

YOU ARE WORRIED LOONEY!!!!!
gee wizz wally! you spend every waking minute obsessed over me and your constant posts about me only offers the proof.
If you really didnt give a crap then you would stop obsessing over me and following my every move on social media.
What apartments have a recruited that I own?????
You really need to step back, take a breath and make some kind of even half-hearted attempt to live in reality
and not dating forums. You are the kind of person that we read about who kill cops and their neighbors or shoot up a school. YOU are a nutcase! YOU ARE CREEPY LOONEY!
Rick: “your constant posts about me only offers the proof.”
My constant posts?? My posts follow your posts! You include my name into your posts on threads that I’m not writing on,,,, so who is obsessing??
Rick: “You are the kind of person that we read about who kill cops and their neighbors or shoot up a school. YOU are a nutcase! YOU ARE CREEPY LOONEY!”
REALLY??? Perhaps all of my friends in the local sheriff’s dept shouldn’t invite me to their home parties,,, and fundraisers. I’ve known about 20 deputies through the years,,,, every sheriff for 40 years,,,, good friends with state troopers too.
Rick,,,, do you really think your constant insults are going to back me off???
Slow learner huh?!!!
I caught you in several lies,,, and now you attack me because of it!!
I think you are guilty of a crime,,,, and your constant lies only builds up my belief!!
I'm on a five day power outage at the moment ... something blew up in the typhoon t'other day, 3 days without electricity so far but my new generator was delivered at 5pm, or is that 1700 hours "military time", today so I'm currently on generator power ... expecting electricity to be restored on 2nd January.
Don't take life so seriously please Armin, just having some banter whilst making the point of "What is English?".
Happy New Year
P.S. We've had six earth tremors now in recent days ... Something is going on with these Pacific plates.
According to a lady I Skype with, she uses Oxford University materials for her English class. The classes are taught by retires from various native English speaking countries, mostly from the UK, but there are young guys that are proficient or fluent in English teaching as well.
Armin and gents …IMHO…With the current exteriorizing economic situation in Ukraine and FSU, this idea may practicable at the moment.
1. The money exchange and the rising cost of living hinder the possibility of non-payment and lack of students and attendance to class.
2. The professors/ teacher will be unable to perform or concentrate, and act accordingly because of the ladies.
Thanks for bringing up the typo (wrld/world) Sir Martin of the British Empire; you are a true English gentleman and a scholar.
No worries mate… There are plenty of American troops here and making up for the lack of Britons, so you can enjoy retirement.
Martin has a "bee" about English-ness that is incapable of escaping from his "bonnet".
"In English and some other languages, the word nationality is sometimes used to refer to an ethnic group (a group of people who share a common ethnic identity, language, culture, descent, history, and so forth). This meaning of nationality is not defined by political borders or passport ownership and includes nations that lack an independent state (such as the Scots, Welsh, English, Basques, Kurds, Tamils, Hmong, Inuit and Māori)."
1. the status of belonging to a particular nation. "they changed their nationality and became Lebanese" synonyms: citizenship "what is your nationality?"
2. an ethnic group forming a part of one or more political nations. "all the main nationalities of Ethiopia" synonyms: ethnic group, ethnic minority, tribe, clan, race, nation
"English" is not a _political_ nationality, but it is a nationality in the ethnic/linguistic sense.
There's a lot of confusion caused by people using the words "nation", "state" and "country" as if they all meant the same thing. They don't.
The original and fundamental meaning of NATION refers to ethnicity, genetic grouping, familial tribe.
COUNTRY is a piece of geographic territory: it is simply land.
STATE is a legal and political entity.
It sometimes happens that most members of one ethnic/linguistic group live in a limited geographic territory, where they made a strong majority, such that one could draw an _approximate_ line around this territory on a map. In this way, it makes (or made) sense to speak of "German country" or "Flemish country" and so on.
It has sometimes happened that such a country, containing the core of an ethnic nation, was established as a political state. For a time at least, much of the world thought of such "nation states" as the norm. But life is almost always more complicated. People of various ethnic and linguistic identities sometimes live nomadically; sometimes relocate in response to hunger or competition for land; sometimes conquer and/or colonize other territories (often temporarily) and so on.
For example, one can speak of a "Magyar nation", which occupies a territory with its own political state, which we call Hungary. But the Magyar people came from what we now think of as Russian steppe.
Another example, the Palestinian Arabs regard themselves as a nation whose country is occupied, and without an internationally recognized state. If you ask their nationality, most would answer Palestinian.
For another example, the multi-ethnic state called the United Kingdom is the home to several major ethnic nationalities, one of which is English.
In the legal sense of "nationality", Martin is correct.
In the ethnic sense of "nationality", Martin is Puffing Hot Air.
With all due respect the crap that is written on Wikipedia is only as knowledgeable as, often, the dumbass fucking idiot that posted it there.
I don't have a bee, I don't have a bonnet and I don't puff hot air, what I do have is a nationality and no dumbass "Septic" is going to take that away from me because it is something that he or she read on Wikipedia!
