I forgot to mention that most height growth peaks at 18 years of age. Growth doesn't stop for some women though in terms of their hips, etc. That is why in many African countries and elsewhere, 'underage' marriages results in the problem of fistula and other physical issues. And to clarify, I meant virgins that wait until marriage, as a group, they have less frequency of divorce.
As for dating versus marriage minded girls, a U.S. government study categorizes divorce frequency according to ethnicity/race and educational attainment: http://www.bls.gov/opub/mlr/2013/article/marriage-and-divorce-patterns-by-gender -race-and-educational-attainment.htm
Those with a high school diploma up to age 46 shows a still married rate at 51.8% while those with a bachelor's degree at 70.3% still married with first marriage. I took a look at the divorce rate of Ukrainian marriages some months ago and they're comparable to U.S. divorce rates.
Of course bachelor degree holders have higher lifetime incomes and more stable job history compared to those without. The bls.gov figures doesn't show what the bigger factors are (education or the socio-economic attainment or income or even the discipline or lack thereof to complete a degree program) but other studies give clues.
I've read that with couples that have three children, they are less likely to divorce. If a woman wants more than three children, then she is not likely to want a career as well. In the U.S., female undergraduate students outnumber males now. Most jobs requiring a degree often means that relocation not close to home is in order. A U.S. study has shown that females are less happy compared to females of previous generations, and an analysis stated it is due to not having a much extended family support and less interaction and support from the community and local institutions.
When asking the question how much money do you need to be happy, for households $75k while another article says $40k. So the $40k figure is probably for an individual. The point is the man is still looked upon to take care of the majority of financial stress issues. Other sources of stress include health, bereavement, relocating, environment, etc.
Social media can sometimes point out red flags as other threads here have shown. I've found introduction letters that doesn't match with what's on vk. For example, her vk profile is too heavily into influences that objectify women, which points to potential problems down the road in terms child-rearing or socializing with other circles of women here, while her introduction letter makes her seem like a do-gooder.
In the U.S., the majority of women are the ones that initiate divorce for legitimate reasons and reasons that are questionable. In terms of family life, research has shown that women from other cultures that immigrate here are less happy when they are not able to pass on her heritage, culture, and traditions to her children. In other words, it is important to get to know Ukrainian culture and what she values and to keep the passion alive in the relationship. Many teens and early twenty year old women have not developed enough of themselves yet, so that along with other issues are a good reason to search for maturity first, so that the relationship has the opportunity to grow.
The term often used by many profiles is the "inner world" of the individual. That often is the critical aspect of any relationship. Much more so than age difference, economic difference, background difference, etc. You can spew out statistics, numbers, percentages, etc., but they should not be taken as hard absolute facts.
Desperate teens? Yes, but there are people in all age brackets are also desperate. The question is whether to pluck the fruit from the tree or just let it rot and waste away.
TomZ, you are a liar. You are again making things up. You don't know what you are talking about. I have caught you in several lies. Here is your quote:
"Not bad. A little too young for me and I am younger than you Rick."
The question came up which you can't answer, so you chose to attack me personally. You say Rick's girl is a little too young for you. My question was if you were looking for someone older. Why would you be looking for someone older if you already have a girlfriend?
I have not failed. And I am not going to tell my story either because of people like TomZ. When I do tell my story, I will not make it up.
The cheapest flight I have ever bought,, from the Midwest over the pond to Moscow was $685 from Aeroflot in 1999.
To Kyiv,,, I might have had one fare for just under $1,000, but others have been as much as $1,300.
“The cheapest hotel room in Kiev is $5 a night. $2 for a hostel.”
A 5 dollar room? A 5 dollar room????? I suggest taking a broom along so you can sweep the fleas into one corner.
If anyone has to stay in a $5 room while hunting for a wife,,, I suggest he just stay home in his cardboard box down by the river.
TomZ wrote: "beemer18 how can someone not afford to go? A flight from NY - Kiev is $350. Way cheaper from Europe."
2 problems with your statement, first is who lives in NYC? and second is that it appears you are quoting a pre-tax fares or advertised rates that
do not translate into reality when you try to book.
checking multiple travel sites to actually leave Kyiv on may 18 the cheapest was $1384 to Indiana which is more than I paid for the round trip
For June, round trips are no less than 1400. one ways are more at 1800+
who actually has these flights for $350 tax included? when I price something I want to know what I am actually paying (taxes, fees etc)
Well, I guess that's how Beemer thinks. If there was a time when someone could not afford a trip to Ukraine, he thinks it's over. That's why he thinks some women in Ukraine are out of his range before he even gets to know them.
