I donít think spinach beer or wine would taste too good,,,, but Iíve had some strange concoctions over the years.
Rhubarb champagne,,,, my grandmother made it many years ago when I was a child,,, tasted great. My parents always wondered where the last bottle went to? Burp!
Iíve also had homemade cherry wine,,, not cherry bounce like most people make. The father of a classmate made it,,, but took the recipe with him. Damn Cossack.
I drank almost a half gallon of it,, then drove to a party.
Some 33+ years ago I worked for an airline that operated the flights of Caribbean Airways where their specialty on board serving was Basian rum punch.
I'll never forget the crew memo that went out, to the effect, "Would the flight attendants please ensure they shake/stir the rum punch before serving it because passengers at the front of the aircraft are sitting there stone cold sober whilst the passengers down the back are singing".
Well one night shift, between the four of us on duty, a gallon of this Basian rum punch found it's way in to our office ... It was bloody good stuff :)
