Kazakhstan borders Russia and China, and has a population of 18.2 million people. The local economy relies on Kazakhstan’s natural resources like oil, coal and iron ore. Kazakhstan’s cheap living is most apparent in its costs for groceries and consumer goods, which are lower than most of the 50 cheapest nations.

Disclaimer: I am NOT sponsoring or had traveled to Kazahkstan.
If I get to make it to Kazahkstan, then I will give my own opinion about it out of my own experience and point of view. What you do with it, is up to you. I had copied and pasted references from outside sources for more insight on this matter.
It would have been more accurate, if I had said “threat”. The threat from Russia is much greater now, than before he stole Crimea. All of the FSU countries have been under the influence of Russia. Anyone from the west is seen as the enemy,,, and not just a curiosity anymore.
"TomZ, did you and Ragingbull went to the same school called Retards r us?"
I haven't heard of the school, but it looks like kaiserdag did. It sure is weird to make such an accusation without knowing how to conjugate words, something I learned in sixth grade.
kaiserdag's spelling is better since I mentioned it. There is such a thing as spell check. I would bet he is now using that. I was just privately laughing at his grammar and wasn't going to say anything, but....
TomZ does make a point. kaiserdag's statements are full of contradictions. He tells one story in a sentence, then he contradicts himself. This one contradiction came right after he made a statement proclaiming the contrary.
"Ukraine was under Russia's sphere of influence prior the EuroMaidan and that didn't affect traveling there....Russia going rogue had screwed my opportunities for site seeing and the World Cup in 2018."
In this, he makes a statement that Russia's influence didn't affect travel to Ukraine, then he says Russia going rogue affects his travel in 2016.
Look at the title of the thread:
"Meet her at KZ!!!"
Then, he cuts and pastes why you should go to Kazakhstan, then says:
"Disclaimer: I am NOT sponsoring or had traveled to Kazahkstan."
"If I get to make it to Kazahkstan, then I will give my own opinion about it out of my own experience and point of view. What you do with it, is up to you."
Well LR; on that said , yup! A lot more to think about it but doesn't stop tourism. Travelers like me may fear unwelcome in such countries; even though, is very safe.
After yesterday Russia's fly by to US Navy ship on the Baltic, the smell of Cold War is getting obviously high. My curiosity or bragging rights will have to wait.
The US military are regularly overflying Chinese military establishments in the Spratly Islands, by your logic a war between US and China is nigh!
Being on the doorstep of Russia UK semi-regularly finds it's air defences being challenged by the Russians each and every time there is a diplomatic falling out, I understand the Russians do similar to US west coast air defences.
On the day of 9/11 the 'Rice' woman contacted Moscow to let the Russians know "We (US) are airborne", the Russian's reply was "Yes, we are watching you, we have cancelled all air exercises for today" ... That means "Games of 'Silly Buggers" are called off for the time being".
So the Russians did a fly-by of a US ship ... Whoopee Doo!
Except 4 different countries own part of the spratley islands, not just china. Nice strawman. International agreements are specific about distances, approaches, and speed of approach. Other than a total fictitious post, nice work!
A country's 'land' has something like a 12 mile territorial right whereas if a foreigner wants to go within that 12 miles they ask nicely.
However an atoll, a reef, is not considered 'land' and what the Chinese have been doing in the Spratly's in man-making islands from atolls, from reefs, and building, imposing/threatening, military installations upon them however, legally, these man-made islands remain a reef thus have no exclusion zones, 12 miles or otherwise, and there has been quite a stand-off going on between the Chinese and Yanks, Aussies etc.
