I've notice that there are tour packages available for those of us that want to take them, and they are priced around 4000 to 6000 dollars. These include travel and lodgings for several cities, if I'm correct. But what if you had just one or two ladies you wanted to visit? How much would it cost to travel there from the USA and stay for just a week or so? Just curious mind you, for future reference. :)
Fox --I paid $1,300 for airfare to moscow. If I had planned my trip more in advance I could of gotten it for several hundred cheaper. I have to fly out of Charlotte so it's a lot more than if I were leaving from a major city. I'm paying $90 buck a night for hotel room, breakfast included. Again, there are good places to stay a lot cheaper than that. I'm staying at that particular hotel because they have translators on site and lots of the staff speaks english. If you go back and read some of the past posts, the guys tell what it cost them for meals, apartments, etc.
This site has some information and prices on lodgings in several cities by the night, week or month complete with photos and prices.

Fox- If you plan ahead like right now, you'll have the time to find the bargains. Some good advice is to ask the women that you're corresponding with to find you a cheap and decent place to stay. You can't always go by the pictures and listings you see on the internet as some hotels over estimate the luxury of their buildings. Moscow and St. Pete are probably the two most expensive cities in Russia, so don't expect dirt cheap prices!
Fox, I had asked the same thing when I started this in December. It was recommended to me that I take a tour the first time. Yes it is expensive, but it is worth it. I went with 1on1romance.com and they gave me a free Pimsleur beginner Russian course and a free phone card. One of the girls I went to visit would not see me, and I met the other, but we were incompatable. I am sooo glad I had the tour to fall back on. I had the time of my life, and will be returning in September to spend more time with one of the girls I met on the tour. At least 1/3 of the gents on my tour hooked up and started their fiance visa paperwork, and another 1/3 are returning to spend more time w/ their girls.
On another note, I found it very intimidating to be travelling to a country where 99% of the population speak absolutely NO english. The language is sooo different, it helps to have a guide for the first trip. As for the $$, this entire endeavour is extremely expensive. If you don't have the cash to play, do yourself a favor and reconsider.
