hi
what do people think of army-of-bridescom is it a scam or a normal agency.
You see, I have corresponded with quite a few girls on there and so far no one has called me, even though I always give them my phone number. You are not allowed to exchange emails through their form. you are allowed to swap phone numbers and then get their email when you phone them. You can buy their postal addresses too if you want. I just wanna know if the girls are real or is it just a madame in a ukrain office writing the letters. you have to pay to open the letters and send them. I have read some other threads which warn of this kind of thing. But I wrote to pay pal to say it was a scam I thought and they wrote to me to say they are an honest agency. I have so many girls writing to me that i cant keep up with them all. They do actually seem to appear in the mornings and there are none sent on a sunday i dont think so it gets me wondering. But they have private tours as well, so i guess they must have girls somewhere. The girls all look really fit by the way and so I cant resist writing back to some of them even though I know I might be being scammed.
i think you are correct to have suspicions about army of brides. i have recently returned from Dnepropetrovsk and Krivoy Rog . I met 3 American guys on seperate occasions in the office of a company called Cindyagency.com in Dnepropetrovsk(another dishonest organisation but that is another story for another time).
Anyway one of The guys informed me that he arranged to meet some ladies in Odessa through army of brides.Three of the five ladies refused to meet him, probably because they did not exist. The other incredibly beautiful ladies just wanted to carry on being wined and dined each night without any real committment from the ladies. Similar experiences were also given to me from these other guys , and that some one is writing the letters for some of these ladies and the other ladies that agree to meet up with the man basically just love having food and drink being bought for them from an endless supply of men from abroad.
BritBloke,
I would like to bet a pint that the problem regarding Cindy Agency is that the agency write the letters, with or without the lady's knowledge, merely to revenue USD5, or whatever, per letter!
M
i think you you probably correct there Martin.
i think they do write letters for a certain smallcore number of ladies there at cindyagency.i had been writing at the standard email charge rate to a lady there nearly every day, or sometimes every two days over a seven week period. we arranged to meet through the cindyagency in her city of Dnepropetrovsk. when i arrived there i was told in the agency office that this lady was too busy at work to see me.i later discovered through one of the discontented interpretors that she was in fact engaged to be married to another man. the agency knew this all the time but were quite happy to take my money for the e mail translations to this lady.
Though i did meet four other ladies that i chose from their web site in their office located in Dnepropetrovsk. these four ladies i had no previous correspondence with. what i have learned from this experience is that the best route is to just register with an agency.Let the agency know i am arriving and choose the ladies from their agency office. This way i would not have to bother writing costly e mails to any of the ladies.
Olegnay,
Many agency's that have ladies profiles in their offices charge per letter, please refrain from trying to hijack this thread to make your point that fiance.com, without any ladies of their own, indeed are not an agency, do not charge per letter :)
Brit Bloke,
Years ago I registered with Cindy Agency, I would receive letters from, literally, teenagers that were always transmitted around 0900 in the morning Ukrainian time, as if a teenager would get out of bed early to write to a guy in his 40's :)
Chatting on a forum, other than this forum, other guys were receiving exactly the same spam letters as myself. Because I didn't respond to these letters Cindy Agency eventually asked me to select from their ladies which I were interested in and they would take it from there, I was dearly tempted to select all the prettiest and youngest ladies just to prove a point but I decided against it.
Martin,
I doubt olegnay is trying to hijack this thread merely asking the question why.....quite reasonable really if only to open some eyes as to alternatives and seeing as Fiance.com choose to keep this forum open, understandable!
You know as well as I do that with numerous agencies including those mentioned above, the tricks they use to snare the unsuspecting punter can be very devious. The question to ask should be to take a look at the nick of the author of this thread, and take it from there.
Glad,
Olegnay was trying to drop the hint that fiance.com do not charge per letter so 'come and spend your money with fiance.com'. You know it and I know it :)
Just check around the agency websites, so much of it is pay per letter, it also happens to be the biggest scam by unscrupulous agencies, or organised crime syndicates claiming to be agencies, but there are bona fida agencies who rely upon pay per letter to pay translators who translate these letters etc.
Paying per letter is just a crazy idea, you really dont know who you are writing to.
Sites like RussianLoveMatch are unbelievably difficult to get womens info.
I suspect they are just a total scam.
Besides the pretty fotos on RLM, its hard to understand why guys are so keen to waste their time and money`
Adman,
And what has been your success rate on getting womens info on fiance.com?
Fiance.com pay the agencies per letter, they save the guy the trouble, thus the agencies will more often than not pimp their ladies and prevent direct contact.
so it seems that a lot of these agencies then are not real agencies they are just scams. I think the best way to meet a lady is to go there yourself and chat to them in the bar. That way it only costs a beer or two. Also I dont know what gladiator keeps on about my username for. I could change it if he want to british gentleman or whatever. It doesnt matter. What is he hiding, thats what i wanna know? :)
but anyway to get back to the point, army of brides is a waste of time as far as i am concerned.
Martin
The success varies from some wanting to use the agency for translation to others offering phone numbers and email address, even in their first replies.
You should take a look at RLM and see what you have to do to get a womans info.
Its a shocker
Adman,
I am a frequent user of RLM. I am not going to attempt to change your opinion about it, but hope to clarify how they operate. First, getting contact information is very clear ; you purchase enough credits to be a "qualified" member before you can request contact information from the ladies agency. If you think this is difficult then I agree with you. They are an expensive site, but offer better services. Second, they offer live video chat. You exchange instant messages with your girl while viewing her on the camera from her agency office. Some of the ladies have computers at home and may not have the camera, so a "video" chat is not guaranteed. Also, each agency has limited amount of cameras, so sometimes you catch them on video, sometimes you don't. Third, there is letter writing. Many of them post their letters directly to the site, some need agency help.
I recently travelled to Kiev for a week. I requested contact information on 10-12 ladies before I departed. I was E-mailed the agency names, E_mail addresses, and phone numbers before I departed. I contacted every agency and made dates with 90% of the girls I had interest. The other 10% were interested, but couldn't make arrangements around work schedules. All of RLM's contacts were legetimate. Two of the agencies were awesome. They gave me very personal service because they genuinely want to get their ladies married and have a successful agency. I didn't find my "One and only" , but the trip was priceless. I have spent alot of money with RLM the past year, and can't see myself meeting ladies any other way.
bored*****,
what am I hiding???.....please explain.
The reason for making a point about your username is that this forum is frequently hijacked by idiots who invariably use "dubious" identities, hence my question.
If that is not the case then I apologise.take a trip through some of the archives though and I'm sure you will see my point.
Hi Scott
Good to hear your trip went well.
Going to Kiev armed with a list of agencies sounds like a great idea.
Do you think it is worth spending the time emailing women before you go, or just turn up to the agencies when you get there and organise some dates?
Would you do it any different next time?
Bob
