The final report into the downing of Malaysian Airlines flight MH17 over eastern Ukraine last year will be published in October.
The Dutch Safety Board said in a statement on Thursday that relatives of the 298 people who died in the July 17 crash last year will be informed of the report's conclusions before its official release.
Yes they have concluded that flight MH17 suggests attempts were made to cover up the causes of the disaster, including the removal from the crash site of parts of the aeroplane showing severe damage from a Buk missile.
Dutch investigators said on Tuesday that the three pilots were killed instantly, after a Russian-built Buk missile exploded within a metre of their cockpit. The blast ejected hundreds of pieces of shrapnel into the plane with “tremendous force”, said the Dutch safety board report.
Just thinking about how it would explode in front, rather than centre or, bearing in mind the speed the aircraft was travelling at, aft of centre.
The aircraft was travelling from west to east, from Ukraine to Russia, my thinking is that had it been the Ukrainians firing at it they would have fired at it from beneath or behind, for that missile to explode in front of the aircraft suggests evidence, to me, that the missile came from the direction in wehich it was travelling, from the terrorised territory of Ukraine or indeed Russia itself.
Reports that the Islamic State group's affiliate in Egypt has claimed it had downed the Russian passenger plane that crashed Saturday in the Sinai Peninsula, where the jihadists are waging an insurgency, killing all on board.

I, for one, know that Durak and dcguy are not one and the same ... Durak and I didn't always see eye to eye but he popped back in to the forum a few months back to send PM(s) explaining his, kind of, retirement from posting on the forum.
Now ask me if 'Thunderdome', Bart of South Africa, and "Australia Man" are one and the same ... Well that's a different story!
When one posts a long URL in the forum, it usually makes a space in between where there is none. It gives an error when you try to use it, unless you remove the spaces. Durak was aware of this and used shortlinks. dcguy does not use shortlinks.
There is something not quite right about Malaysian Airlines AGAIN.

a UFO hunter even claimed to have found the missing mh370 plane in an eight-month-old Google satellite image. Scott Waring believes an underwater shadow off the coast of South Africa is the outline of a Boeing 777.
