Congrats Sir, for you had served. And with due respect, I don't have the moral to teach or question you on such matters; because, I'm still projecting Death From Above till further notice.
But as for me, I couldn't take it any longer in the UK. Not even fro short flights from STN, to meet up Eastern Europeean lady. However, if a fact that the UK is getting invaded by foreigners from everywhere to collect benefits.
"MOSCOW – A Russian union official says 15 members have been briefly detained by police as tensions rise in disputes involving Volkswagen and Peugeot factories.
Dmitry Trudovoi of the MPRA union said the 15 were detained Saturday while meeting at the union's office, were held for around two hours and questioned about union activities by police from an 'anti-extremism' unit."
The union has been protesting layoffs at Russian automotive plants.
Don't tell me you live in downtown Bishops Stortford :) I worked at STN twice during my airline career, first time for Air Uk, second time for Air Foyle Heavylift ... with those big Ukrainian AN124 & AN225 aircraft as well as a few other oddballs.
At a weekend gathering of Arab leaders in Egypt, Egypt's president read aloud a letter to the gathering from Putin, which said in part "We support the Arabs' aspirations for a prosperous future and for the resolution of all the problems the Arab world faces through peaceful means, without any external interference."
Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal responded sharply to Putin's words: "He speaks about the problems in the Middle East as though Russia is not influencing these problems."
"They speak about tragedies in Syria while they are an essential part of the tragedies befalling the Syrian people, by arming the Syrian regime above and beyond what it needs to fight its own people," Prince Saud said.

Just as in Ukraine: Putin promotes lawlessness, disorder and murder, and then complains about how bad the situation is, and that other countries shouldn't interfere.
Maybe Saudi will increase oil production again. I haven't seen a "gas war" like this since I was a child. Economics 101 Herr Putin. Secondary boycott to collaborators.
Well you could have KLM'd it from Norwich, between AMS and KBP there were 3 flight daily so pretty good connections, KLM sharecoded with Ukrainian International on the route.
THE UNBOUNDED CRIMINALITY OF RUSSIA AND ITS FRIENDS
I have written here before, about how the Russian Federation used mobsters as part of its takeover of Crimea, and to this day criminal gangs are part of Crimea's practical administration. This may sound like a piece of anti-Russian propaganda, but it is well documented.
Nor should it surprise anyone, because this is a normal mode of operation in Russia. Putin's personal involvement with organized crime boosted his early political career as a government official in Sankt Peterburg.
Today, Russian and European press are reporting that Oleg Bugrov was arrested Sunday in Sankt Peterburg, for his part in supplying used or substandard pipes as new material to a Russian oil company. Bugrov is (or at least was) a citizen of Ukraine. [I haven't yet seen this story in English-language press.]
In fact, Bugrov was the "Minister of Defense" of the self-proclaimed "People's Republic of Luhansk."
And before that, he was an officer in Ukraine's now-disbanded Berkut (riot police), suspected of having taken part in the mass murder of protesters on Kyiv's Maidan.
Such are the fine, upstanding individuals, who act as Russia's agents in its cruel aggression against Ukraine.
