Really strange? I was raised a little different at least my Father told me any man that raised a hand against a woman was a pussy and didn't have the courage to do it with a man. I've found a lot of truth in that in my life, most women beaters don't have that courage and vent their cowardice towards women. Sick world we live in when love is expressed with fists and flowers.
In Australia we have similar case to America at the moment. Everyone hates our prime minister but are scared to change. Our view of Americans is similar to ourself in some ways, and different in others. We know there is much oposition to bush over there and here but he also has suporters. Unfortunatly the way things are you election is somthings for the world to be concerned with. Not because you are the most impotant country, but because you think you are and therefore do what you like becuase you have military strength. Bushes decission directly reflect on the world because he dose not listen to the world but in answer to you question wess, I think that all pple understand that he dose not speak for every individual in America. There are a lot of people there who opose him so, her at leat, you are still views as individuals, not just as Americans.
I'm not a Bush supporter, nor did I care much for his father, but some things have to be addressed. One the alternative in this election supports socialism to the exteme. I in now way can support any socialist agenda, that takes away from the individualism that this country was born on. I do not agree with the Patriot act, it is a tool, to me the worst form of pricacy invasion. I do not like the expansion of the federal government under the Bush administration, but under John Kerry it would be a hell of a lot worse. Also I do not believe a soverign nation has to listen to the rest of the world. The first thing the United States should do is kick the United Nations out of here. No one organization has expanded cruelty and socialist agenda and harbored criminals than the UN. I support Congressman Ron Pauls legislation for the US to get out of the UN. It is also a point that we do not make ourselves out to be the most important country, the world does that, just look at the foreign aid that the US taxpayer gives out every year. If you don't want us to be important don't ask us for money or military aid. As far as the dollar vs. the euro, well that would change if the tax burdens off middle class america is lifted. I am one American that personally doesn't care how the rest of the world views us. If the rest of the world would take care of their own, then US intervention in their societies would be non-existant. Most of us Americans are honest and hard working people that have a genuine care for people all over this planet and we espouse freedom as the only alternative in a honest and just society.
As for the secret war for oil, if the US would open up territories in its own country for oil exploration, OPEC would not be a strength in the world oil market. Also when countries in the FSU grasp the technology in oil development and research OPEC will be a small player in the world oil market.
Man Yeah not to many people drink atlunch, unless they shake the crowd, they have happy hour here right after work, they are happy it is not lunch time. Not all states make the drinking law 21 and it used to 18. What does that mean 21, teenagers drink and drink a lot.
I will not argue that Russia might have a bigger problem but we here have an alcohol problem too. I think my point was that Americans hide their drinking, drinking is still a social stigma in this country of self declared do-gooder's.
Dome, you are a funny guy and you crack me up, you are a good writer and though I do not always agree with your slant(often I do)it is still great to read your words. Let's see there is the Pound, the Euro and ours the retro dollar:)))
You know Nasfan6 you have made some great points and your reply is an impetus for thought, get this mess straightened out by tomorrow night and take friday off and have yourself a long weekend.
It has nothing directly to do with Russian wome, but indirectly its a very pertinent question !!
Certainlky here in the Uk the opinion of the Bush admin` is pretty bad !!! But then again, our opinions of our own government is probbaly several notches lower down the abhorance scale !!
Of course its inportant to ask these questions, we are after all trying to form relationships with women that come neither from the US or the UK, almost all of which have never been to either, and will have formed opinions about us from what they have seen on FSU TV !!
So its up to us to prove the TV wrong ... or right depending upon how you are as a person :o)))
I have been away for some time from the forum, but now I have better access i hope to be here a little more often again :o)
For those who already know me ....
Hey Tim,
" Certainlky here in the Uk the opinion of the Bush admin` is pretty bad !!! But then again, our opinions of our own government is probbaly several notches lower down the abhorance scale !! "
I found this very amusing, often as I look at Bush and Blair I can't help but think of Laurel and Hardy and no matter how hard they try, everyone else knows they are doomed!
Thank you dear :o)))
Its nice to be back :o)) Though it did take me a few minutes to remeber my password !! ;o))
Its been quite a while, and the old memory isnt what it used to be :o))
The biggest problem I have with the Bush Blair deal, is that our leader is behaving like he is the subserviant toe rag to Bush !!!
Does he really think sucking up to a man like Bush, who`s days are well and truly numbered, will help him keep control over the UK ?
Only the very nieve would say he has more than a few months left at most !!
Who the hell is Tim?
Pining for the Fjords mebbe me mate?
But you said you're back.
Back from?
Care to shed some light there where it's dark?
According to the records, forever filed & archived herein, you went to a disclosed location to disclose, eh, well, why don't you finish this lot yourself?
As a PS:
Nasfan, your rhetorical speech above is so blatantly full of holes that even the blind can stick their arms through. However, I said - and meant - no hacking, and therefore I also wish you a super day. We will agree to disagree I'm sure.
let's keep this anonymous - for now!
Undoubtedly you're the chameleon of the many different animals here, and if ever you've hunted you'll know that not the colour but the silhouette is instantaneously recognisable. Shape, style and, to a lesser extent, size.
However, movement is crucial also.
And so is habitat, for a Polar Bear belongs to the lesser spotted creatures in the Sahara.
However, he will stand out there, not roaming in his natural habitat.
Don't you realize you do whilst IN your own habitat?
You make an easy prey, and man remains a hunter......
Not found your marbles, or had those screws fully tightened yet Im glad to see :o))
I was between homes mate, now I have net access all of my own again :o))
And a whole house to renovate !!
So I wont be around as much as I was before I wasnt around for a while, if you know what I mean :o))
Afterthought, has anyone seen or heard from Jet recently ?
(thats JetMBA)
It maybe that there are posts from hiom in the recent history, but I dont have a year to wade thru them looking !!!!
Thunderdome, I'm neither blind nor a lemming, and that was not a rhetorical speech, because I follow no particular party philosophy except the constituiton of the United States and an indepth study of the Federalist and Anti-Federalist papers. Over 200 years ago George Washington in his farwell Address warned of entangling alliances with foreign nations. Besides the British and Australians, who seem to show up in the conflicts we get involved, I feel no allegiance to any other countries. We in the US need to keep our house in order and not really worry about the opinions of the rest of the world.
Wessman, I'm going to have a great weekend thanks.
"We in the US need to keep our house in order and not really worry about the opinions of the rest of the world."
mate, thats one of the biggest problems !! The US government doesnt care what the rest of the world thinks !!! If they did then things would be a lot different than they are presently, and before you assume Im having a go at you, my goverment are just as F`ing bad !!!
The world would be a better place without Blair or bush in it !!!
No, no! I'm going into the political debate here. I've already written my comment on the American elections...
This ii an answer for Hoenissen - yes, almost everyday. Have you been to Slovenia? People from south say "little Swiss" (Eastern part of the Alps is here), the northern ones call it "the small mediterranean country between Austria and Croatia".
And yes again, there are at least some Britts here, too...
