When I use the translation machine and send an e-mail from the site it ends up sent in the English letter version and not the Cyrillic alphabet I was wondering how to change the language on the computer? How do I send a letter in Russian from my computer so it stays formatted in the right alphabet. I am writing a girl that has private e-mail so it looks like this, Цдравствуайт Джулия, Если Вы не получали мое письмо, сегодня пожалуйста ответьте на это письмо, и я напишу Вам другое письмо. instead of this, Цдравствуай 090; Джулия Если Вы не получали письмо я послал сегодня пожалуйста ответьте на этот, и я пошлю другому. it looks the same for me- plain Russian. change encoding to see Russian font. go view/incoding

Hi wess, just back from Italy to see my girl, took her to Venice for the weekend, unforgetable, anyway, back to the question, I purchased a keyboard with English and Russian fonts, easy to switch between the two and then it doesn't come out in Latin ot whatever, inexpensive too

Trad & Lad, pls tell me how this works? Obviously dual symbols, but how does the pc 'see' the diff?

TD: normal keyboard but you do need russian character set installed and then switch from english to russian from keyboard options,and away you go.

Farging simple, even for an icehole like me - don't tell me you can only buy it behind the once Iron Curtain? Would not mind having one, I'l ask around.

Wessman. You need to go change your encoding to Cyrillic. Click View in the top of Windows menu bar, then click Encoding and finally click Cyrillic (Windows). If Cyrillic is missing, you have to have it installed. Go to My Computer, click Control Panel, click Add/Delete programs, click Windows Setup folder, click Multi Language Support, and then click install Russian language support. Windows will then show and send correct Cyrillic lettering after you go to Encoding in the View panel. Hope that helps! Try it, you will like it.
