I have been tracking this little statistic for two months now. The least women to join in any week were one hundred and fifty six. Usually there are at least two hundred new females every week joining the ranks of eligible brides. It has been stated several times that there are almost fourteen thousand females here at Fiance.com to choose from. Not all of these are looking for a husband; some are playing here, bored or what ever. I will bet that some of these women are less than honest. I will bet some are looking for a rich guy for gifts and good times. Is it possible an occasional scammer gets through security, yes? Are there agencies that are less than ethical out there trying to make money, sure that are why we are here? Are there women here at fiance.com that are just dreaming some big dream yes I will bet. But there are very beautiful and very honest young women here that are waiting for a man to meet and marry them too. You can build a house with a sharp ax and a hammer or you can use all the modern tools to do a much better job. We have tools here to make the process much easier if we are willing. I hear guys complain all the time about getting ripped off financially and emotionally and I must say that when this happens we were not using the tools we have at our disposal. Love is a universal language it is the same the world over, and the courting process is the same where ever you go. There are rules and they must be followed. If there are fourteen thousand women available to choose from why would you keep writing a girl that? A. Does not answer your questions? B. Does not reply to letters in-sync to what you are writing. C. Keep writing letters when you can not get a phone number or address. D. Any of the above. Hey There Mr. I am going to find an FSU wife, you do not know what you are doing and you are too good at the blame game. We think we know what we are doing. But the question is do we. No, No not exactly! Most of us are using trial and error or in English the hit or miss system. Me I am reading the book and listening to these guys that are having good experiences. That is it, experience, I am listening to experience and there is much of that. They told me if I could not get an address, move on. So I did. Every time I met some resistance they told me to move on. HEY!!! If things are not going well move on! If you keep writing letters and don't fall in love with the photo and become blind you will meet a real, genuine girl that will love you but you must move on till you find her. I have written 189 letters in two months, received 139 replies and had 56 women inquire of me. I fell in love with many of the photos and though several were the right one but I kept seeing the signs and kept moving on. I met a girl in Moldova during the process and she gave me her address, when she writes to me I know she is honest and not holding back. She gave me her address and phone number. I wanted to make sure she was real so I sent her a Teddy Bear a White bear with red and blue stars on it and a nice bottle of perfume. It took a month to get there, but this girl is real. I received this letter today! Hello Wess! I want to thank you so much for what you've done for me! I received your parcel! My feelings are beyond any description and I feel ecstatic about that! Wess, I came home and my mother showed me the parcel notice. At first I thought it was just a letter. I and my son Sasha went to the post office. He was torturing me by his questions all the way there. And I couldn't answer him anything, because I didn’t know for myself! When we were given that parcel of yours, we were very excited! He was carrying this box by himself and at the same time was reading the words written on it. Wess, he read Cooke and suddenly cried out: Mummy, there is a cake in there! A big and delicious cake! He is such a sweet tooth! We came home and made a bet. Sasha said the was a toy inside of the box and I said there was a perfume! We opened it and what we found there?!! You know, I wanted to open your parcel on the way home. I wanted to take it away from Sasha and to open it very quickly, but we delivered it home safe and sound. At home I wanted to leave it unpacked for a while. It was a mysterious white box and what it had inside was carefully chosen for me by Wess! This little bear has his name now. It is Wess! Not Nick, sorry. This small white box gave me so much warmth, light and joy, traveling to me from the most wonderful and charming place called Florida. It was sent to me by the most considerate man on the planet! Now my bear Wess will be sleeping with me. You know, our life is full of daily routine. And only such beautiful surprises make it much brighter! I am grateful to you for this fairy tale you are giving to me, for this world of feelings I discover in myself thanks to you! Please keep sharing your experiences with me, even the negative as I want to learn the process and stay on task which is to meet and marry my second half. Sometimes she calls and gets my letter read to her and then phones back and dictates a response, this is only logical since my girl works two jobs and has been studying for credentials to teach Yoga. I am sure some luck came into meeting this girl here at fiance.com but I did a lot of what I was told here and what I found as far as research to back up what was said here. Groon is just an old comic book character I liked when I was very little. I've been using this handle since I was in high school. :-) I have been writing to a girl in Moldova for 4 months now. So far she's answered all my questions and as you pointed out her replies to my emails show she actually read mine. It's a nice change from the rote replies I would get from women who were the initiators of our contact. It took some prodding to get her to send me a current non-glamor photo. She was worried I would not find her attractive. LOL! A new girl has contacted me a few days ago. This one gives me pause. More due to her age that anything else. We have written each other 3 times so far and she's been pretty good about answering my questions and showing that she actually reads my messages. The problem I have is that she is 22. I have read some other thread here about age and degree of seriousness. I've found this to be very true. At least one of the under 25 girls that have written me was up front with her reason for being here. She said it's the current "fad" to have a man overseas to write to. Needless to say that was the end of my writing to her. LOL! But anyway this new girl ends her messages to me with stressing that she is very serious about finding her other half and that she feels she and I have enough in common to want continue our correspondence. I'm not sure what I'm gonna do with this lady. But I do have to admit this whole process is a bit fun for me. I'm not too worried about finding or not finding someone here. I take the view of if it's gonna happen then it will happen. If it doesn't I had fun meeting people I would have never met otherwise . This includes you guys. And for you new guys here I'd just like to say I have been here 5 or 6 months and have written to many women. I have yet to come across anyone trying to scam me. Those scams I have run into were found outside this agency and they were pretty obvious. A little common sense is your best defense against a scammer. Just FYI, when I was still searching I would always ask for their full name, address and phone number within the first 1 or 2 letters. Usually their personal email address too if they had one. Then go from there. If they didn't respond to direct questions within 1 or 2 letters of me asking then I would usually dump them and move on. I would give them at least 2 letters though to reply because at least one girl I wrote to didn't have a phone and would pick up her letter, take it home, carefully write her reply, bring it into the agency and then have them finally send it off. Took her like 3-5 days to write me one reply. They were almost always 1 letter back since she would only receive the current days letter and have to take it back to repeat the whole process. So all of my replies were one or more letters old from what I had just sent. (Hope that makes sense.) The girl was still real but just took ages to get things from and her replies never seemed to make sense until I realized she was answering the letter I sent 2 letters back. I finally managed to figure out what she was doing when I simply asked her. She then told me her whole drawn out process and why her responses never seemed direct or in sync with my questions. LOL jmoluv Member send PM   block PM add to buddies Send: 9/13/2004 6:44:27 PM   hey groon i did that with a girl from zaporozhy if i spelled it right. it was not the good old glamour photo we are used to seeing. it surprised her and i could barely recognize her either. she said the same thing about trust. this girl was a real card. i sent her money for a plane ticket to spare her the long ride on a train and some extra money to secure an apartment. guess what she shows up at the airport to meet me and she looked wiped out and real tired. here she took the train so she could pocket the money and she said she did not feel comfortable sharing an apartment with me so she gave the rest of the money to her aunt in kiev for a two nite stay. unbeleivable!!!!!!!!!!! do relatives charge their own relations for an overnite stay? it was sunny and i asked her why she does not wear sunglasses and her response was they dont have sunglasses for sale in her city. this is histerical to me. so i asked her if she would like a pair to wear and she goes right to the guccis in the store. i also asked her why she never e-mailed me much before she arrivrd and she said there was only one e-mail cafe in the whole city and it is always closed or broke down. e-mail cafes are every where like Mcdonalds in all ukrainian cities . needless to say she said she would go back to her aunts house and get her things and would come back to my 4 star hotel and stay with me and she never came back. what i want to say to you guys is this . never go over there only to meet one lady . you never know. have a back up plan . mine was a european connections social that was there that week ,thank god for that. it was pretty cool . that women from zaporozhy was yanked from this web. There are real sweet girls over there dying to be loved by a good old trusing male. We as men put way to much emphasis on the age. I wrote my girl and told her my age and that I could not understand why she would want such an older man, she told me it was not age or looks and she thought I was handsome and had great eyes. I left that at that. I keep sending new photos everyday i take with a digital camera just so she can see what she is going to get. Twebty years (18)does not seem to be to big a difference for us anymore. So groon let the age thing slide unless you are well over fifty. Jimoluv, you are doing a lot of generalizing all things are not equal, some women live in small towns where this is no internet and do not have cellphones, this is America man and not everyone one has a cell phone. We all knew there would be an explanation for your overt hostilities and even I wrote asking for you to share your experience so we could realize your part and to help you over this hurdle, it hurts when you get abused like that you are not alone. Neon knows better than to send money that is the rule. I was about to send 1386.00 to Siberia, they told me I was an Idiot and I was pissed cause they just did not get it. I listened and did not send money at least you got to meet the girl you sent money to. How bizare! Most guys send the money and the girl falls off the radar.
