I have found that to be very true. There have been a few women that I had extreme interest in and persued. After the chase was over and I won them over... I lost interest very quickly. Then there were those where the thrill of the hunt paled in comparison to what came after. It's all very interesting. I have had or overheard many conversations with men and women who've expressed shame with their own sexuality. From what I've heard, it seems that many women would be appalled to touch their genitals or a man's for that matter... and if they did, they'd be ashamed to admit it. I am still chasing mine, even though she has agreed to be my wife, however we are going through a bad patch, the fault is nearly all mine, I have sat at home for the last three days, feeling like my guts have been ripped out. She still wants me to come to Moldova in October and bring her home, she says she still loves me, but she says now that she doesn't understand and is afraid she may be making a mistake. In other words, they need a mother. So they marry a woman to have someone to get those things and pick up after them... and for sexual intimacy. Just one problem... most women don't want to pick up after a man. They marry to have a loving relationship -- which may or may not include sexual intimacy -- and the security and comfort of marriage and a home, and to have children. There is nothing wrong with people knowing what they want and going after it, and it can be wonderful if both people seek and value the same things. It seems that far too many people want very different things, and when reality meets dreams something has to give... the 'loving' part of the relationship. The first thing that usually goes is any mention or display of 'love' and the intimacy, masked by the phrase, "I don't feel 'that' way any more."
