He told me he can arrange visa and accomodation for maybe $40 a day in city centre. He sent a map and it was the city centre because I have visited Ekat before, not a bad place realy. Type Ekaterienburg into your seach engine and see what comes up. I emailed this agency and they replied quickly and seemed very pleasent (deleted by moderator) is the email. I cannot personal say I know to much about them but it information non the less. From that same airport (there's 3 in Moscow!) you connect to E'burg (saving a real headache of getting to another airport there!) with a local carrier (various, and not really cheap either), the flight-number you want depends on your arrival-time. Some leave dead-early in the morning but you rather connect than sleep over - admittedly tiring but get it over with, and surely you don't want the hassle of getting into, and out of, the city for just a night in a hotel. In E'burg you better let her arrange your accomodation, I suggest an appartment, and best leave this choice to her. She's likely unable to 'book' this as you're used to (weeks in advance) but you do best to trust her, because it is quite normal there. No deposit needed, you pay (cash!) when you get there. I have not seen my lady since 98 in Moscow. I know about the weather, they invented the definition of cold! So many of the people have moved around the country from where they used to live. I checked as I am going over in a few months and it was going to cost me double to fly into Domodedovo. They are somewhat irregular on their schedules, though. I suppose you mean 'from Frankfurt' with 'direct', meaning a switch there? Oh, and UB, pay the appartment in 'terms' like in several days at a time, not the lot in one go. This way you could change without the hassle of trying to get your money back first, and in fact this is not strange at all.
