It seems to me that for the girl to basically give up her family and friends forever in order to marry a foreigner is a lot to expect of her. Especially if she has some children with her new foreign husband and she starts to feel guilty and lonely without her parents and other family members seeing her children except for maybe 1 or 2 weeks a year when she would go to visit them. I think this would be such a strong motivation to want to separate from her husband and move back to her homeland. There are many reasons for staying married - or for not staying married. -Just to confuse the issue further: Compare divorce statistics from our grandparents' time, divorce statistics from Ireland today, etc. with 'American man/American woman' and 'American man/Russian woman'... Finding the numbers is the easy part, analysing is much harder... Besides everyone is 'special' so statistics do not apply to them! Not bad odds. Although it is a very a hard thing to try and quantify. I would like to think that a woman, if she is younger, will want to have children and need that security of a man so she stays longer. However I have seen that not to be the case in the west. They will just take off. Kids or no kids. Also every woman I have ever met always wants us to believe it is the 2 timing philandering husband who won't pay child support and beats her. I have yet to actually see this scenario. Usually the lack of support is used as a weapon to see their kids because they actually care. All the 2 timing I have seen is with women. They leave not the husband. I am really hoping that with a woman from Russia I have a better chance and that the words sincerity and commitment will actually mean something. Hard to tell though. The one I am in contact with now is 37yo, 128lbs, 5'7", blonde with the face of an angel. Wonder how she will hold up to the attentions that will come to her in the USA. Would be tempting. This seems to be a different situation though. She has spent quite a while in the states, has been to Florida twice, speaks good English, has her own money, 2 university degrees and most importantly isn't using her looks to buy a future for her child. To me this spells sincerity. Why bother? Obviously the motivation is purely to find love and a future with a decent man i.e. me. LOL With this situation I feel that the figure would work very well in my favor. 80% sounds good. Another thing of interest is what she told me about Russian men. Without any prompting or probing from me she told me that Russian men are pretty much hopeless. She said they drink like fish, have no idea how to treat a woman like a lady and frequently are married with 2 other women on the side. Also at the first sign of any discord they bail. Apparently they have the male domination thing going too and beatings are not unusual. We have all heard all this before I know, but when you hear it directly from the lips of a beautiful Russian princess without any coaching you know it is true. She told me this is why she is looking to the west because those men know how to look after a woman. It does your heart good to hear this. Especially after the emotional and financial pounding ungrateful western women lay on us. 80% is sounding very good right now.
