Many girls' photos are old, many are a bit altered with Photoshop, I know that some of you met photos of different people under different names. You actually have quite a risky situation of meeting a person quite different that was in the photo. (to be fair. The same situation we have with me. One guy had nothing better than putting a photo made in 1965 on his profile:-) But what if fiance.com introduced a new service. Just a small .avi video of 20-30 seconds showing your lady now and alive. Preferably from all sides and naked!;-) This was a joke. Really, I actually made this experiment twice just to see a man's reaction and by the letters we could judge that the happy guys almost pissed in their pants when seeing their girl moving on the screen. "She is alive! Alive!" I think this is easy to make. Almost every agency has a digital camera and to ask a lady to come and make this movie is not hard. You can even ask her to make a special jest for you!:-) What you get: 1) absolute joy to see your future somebody almost alive 2)proof that she is real 3)some information on her current shape IT will not work for the independent girls but with agencies I think it will. Of course it is very general and not personal. It is not wide spread but there are a coulple of western agencies that do this now. Again I think it would be a good Idea but in reality with the low prices you guys are proud of I do not think it would be very cost effective. The server space requirement is huge. I do however think that live online video streaming would be the way to go. There are many types available. I am certified in such so if you have questions I would love to help out. Then it would be easier to justify your charges and it would be interactive. No cost to store video that may or may not be used. I think you are looking at a good Idea here. I brought it up in the forum before and was shot down by my fellow forum members but again I know you would get people to pay. I can not agree with shaggy47435 to the point about the space requirements. That's quite easy to solve I think: the agency send the video to Fiance.com and their webserver sends it automatically to the privat e-mail-account of the addressee. This would be a reasonable way to solve two problems at once: the space-problem as well as the privacy-problem! But maybe all your free e-mail-boxes are to small!? And I confess to have no idea about a good price for all involved parties. Don't you? my email (deleted by moderator) Oleg, I think that for getting results profiles are profiles but htis video is for the guys from this forum who are affraid of really meeting a crocodile instead of a beauty!:-) In your place I would add it to the russianservices . Oh perhaps I have seen something of the kind there... Am I right? And this in my oppinion will be a very specific thing for those who will really want this. GLTALLTOAD Member send PM   block PM add to buddies Send: 12/10/2004 3:35:04 PM   Felice, I think only those entertaining women of advanced age (over 40)run the risk of meeting 'crocodiles' (lol) Also once the e-mail friendship starts, there is no reason for both to avoid sending regular photos showing them doing normal or special things with family, firends, around the house, work, etc etc etc... Gem the problem is the file size of video is so large that for it to be effective email is not usually the best delivery. It can be done but as Oleg pointed out the quality would be so poor it would not be worth your while. The other is of course without a live feed you will not know for sure if it is any more real than any other canned video or pictures on the web. If you want to sell it make it live! The programs are available and free. The only requirement is broadband access at the camera end! Set up one desktop in each agency and have the ladies come in like a phone call. You could offer translation as well. It will work and the cost is minimal. Once it takes off you can spend the big bucks. But until then it would be almost pure profit. The other service I would suggest is Skype. Audio only service. The quality is great the price is free and again your profit would be very high as no long distance charges. Just some thoughts!
