He was asked: How to avoid being scammed by Russian women? He said: The answer is very simple: just deliver her flowers. I am completely serious! Let's see what happens. All these tricks are based on the fact that the man (M) can not locate his correspondent (F). He knows her e-mail address in some free internet service like YAHOO, or uses e-mail forwarding services offered by the agency where he purchased her address. He has seen her beautiful and attractive pictures. Maybe even pictures of her family, child, and cat. He has read her letters. He maybe even has her postal address and phone number, but has never used them. And when M has finally been robbed by F and begins to analyze their communication, he finds out that he can not even tell, is she a real person or not? He sees that it could be a male, an old ugly monster, or a group of young pranksters. Almost every city in former USSR has a flower delivery service. If you order from such a service the delivery of flowers for your correspondent you would never fall into the role of victim I described above. Obviously, you should not to use the flower services offered by the agency from which you have obtained her contact data if you have some doubts of its reliability. As a rule, flower delivery services offer the photographing of the addressee with your gift. Order this service from them. After your order is accomplished you will know FOR SURE that: • your correspondent really exists and the pictures she sent you really belong to her; • the contact data she gave you are real: her phone number belongs to her and she really lives at the address which you have; • she really has an attraction for you and you have gladdened a nice pretty woman with your gift. I render flower delivery service in Minsk and during Valentine's Day and the Russian holiday on the 8th of March 2000 my service discovered 6 scammers. I just could not find the ladies to whom I should deliver flowers from their gallant men. The phones and addresses of women which my clients gave me did not belong to the women they had been writing. I used this same method with my girl and it gave me all the proof I needed and let me see at the same time a very happy woman with the sorriest bunch of roses I have ever seen. In all respect to the flower service here, I used a different site for half the price and a free picture along with it. Send her a letter through the post with an 8 digit PIN number. Ask her to write it down in big letters on a peice of paper. Ask her to take a face photo holding up the number so it can be seen below her face. Ask her to return the photo by post or email. The photo might be her better looking younger sister or daughter, but at least you'll have confirmation that the same person was recently photographed and the address is correct. Plus you don't need to send flowers and will only spend the cost of postage 2 ways. If your date is genuine she will not mind this minor hassle. Scamming is a very big subject, with more ways to do it on , than to cheat on the taxes. But the regular thing is to never send any money, and if you still do it , be sure that you know how much it cost.Like a hospital stay and such, if a birth on a baby cost more than 2 years pay, you must wonder why so many russians still gets borned. Like a friend of me, he got scammed after a meeting in moscow, she is from Siberia. I have been in Ukraine 6 times, and i have my own kind of way to stop scammers, i have a good friend there, whp i can trust and he deliver flowers and all things for very low prices compare to agencies and such. If you people knew the prices off flowers in the shops down there, you will understand what i talking about, the agencies profit on this must be huge, so in a way we get scammed already through them :). Adresses and such things , he also fix. so the best way is to geyt to know someone well in a city and he will fix all with right prices. And if you want to be sure , so use agencies that only registrate the ladies through personal up meeting at the agencies, then she will be real, but scammed you still can be, so a clear head and watching for RED STOP signs you still need, as i said i know people that now is being scammed after a meeting and 14 romantic days in Moscow. A single one, or a letter, would be enough, as long as it's the one you've requested. You say she won't mind this little hassle if she's genuine. You're sure? Because it shows first of all quite clearly that you don't trust her, but also that you want her to do some tricks at her cost & inconvenience to supply proof to you that she is the person she's told you she is. That's of course assuming she IS genuine, and surprise - most of them are! But your little request some wuill see as mistrusting, lazy and cheapskatish all at the same time - in contradiction to receiving a bunch of flowers whilst showing it off into a lens, a lots more friendlier way to do things I think. If you're serious the latter is better, and take it from me that cutting cost on something like sending flowers is a non-starter. But also any overly mistrusting nature is, up to you to classify yourself I suppose. Best of luck. I've thought of another as well. Send her a fake Manchester United "T" shirt and ask her to send back a photo to see how it looks on her. It has to be fake because the real ones cost £50. Of course any "T" shirt will do as long as it's got something on it you can read. "Shit happens" is probably a popular choice, however you're risking her or her mates already having one, so it has to be fairly new or unique. Now she won't get suspicious about that will she, and if you make it a size too small you get a great picture of a fine pair of tightly packed breasts you can show immigration and your mates. I think you have to do this, because I'm guessing the cost and hassle of bringing a lady over to the UK by Aeroflot is at least a few hundred quid. Do Easyjet fly from Moscow? She may also be uglier and older than her picture, so why waste effort, check everytime and if you buy a box of "T" shirts you'll get a discount for buying in bulk. Suit yourself, I'd never show such to even my best mate, worse even, I in fact would not really want to see his! But I think you're mistaken by all those rumours about meat-markets, them being desperate to exit and all that crap, oh, I forget, they're also easy! If you recognize yourself here you are going to be in for a humongous surprise, and add gargantuum losses in all conceivable kinds of respects. Dont spend what you arent willing to lose... Kinda like poker we are gambling here.... So listen to your instincts and stay aware and you will probably see any scams coming. The problem is not that we dont see them coming, the problem is we see something that looks so Nice we avoid thinking about it being A scam. So many divorcee's here, I dont see this being A huge issue, You want to do something nice and can afford it? then do it and why not get A photo while your at it ~)), I do agree with get carried away before you meet someone and it could be trouble. Honestly I have trolled these boards for awhile now, I leanred alot from reading about others mistakes and checking out other forums about scams and just these types of deals alltogther. I have something too add from my information collection, it may piss some people off but oh well ~)) Be wary of girls that speak certain extra languages... italian, Arabic, German... that is if they have no reason too, you might want to ask where they learned it and if theyre honest an AIDs test may be A very good idea before you consumate the relations. If you dont know why I made that comment do some research and find out for yourself. I have been to Dubai... so I have seen it first hand... anyone else know what I am talking about?
