To those of you who know the American country weastern song "Back In The Saddle Again" sing the title using that tune. To those of you who don't know that song - consider yourselves to be lucky.
Anyway - all went GREAT - we are stiil angaged - she (of course) loved the ring, which was carefully concealed on crossing the border - in my pants (don't ask where) (okay - it was in my pocket). I did wear the diamond heart pendant - which was also undetected.
Even got along with her MOTHER this time. All went wonderful.
Just checking over the forum and I see that someone new in angry and taking potshots at toad. Not exactly original.
But I hope all the old gang as well as all the new (even the hostile) newcomers are feeling as good about their quests as I am.
Actaully I did seem to get a bit of a cold over their -very sore throat. So without a doctor's prescription of course, my fiance went to the local parmacy and brought back amoxcilln - a very potent and regulated (here in the US) antibiotic. She told me that there doctors will prescribe the "right" antibiotic for a fee - but that if you want to guess all are available to anyone at the local pharmacy.
I don't know you, I guess I am one of the newbies (in the forum). I have been around for a while, but never been active in a Forum before. I have a girl in Estonia, but I am very curious about how Moldova was.. I am not talking details about your date, but the country, prices, nature, hotels, restaurants and whatever you feel to share of information.
you did wear the darn pendant. You must have looked stunning me ol' fruitcake :))
Don't trust the Scandinavian, he is a whole 560 years old and calls himself Santa. And now he wants to know from you what Moldova is like - huh, you don't believe that for sure. All he wants is the size of the chimney, angle of the roof and average snowfall, trust me ;-)
So, now your K1-app is going through the mills eh? Hope you're patient indeed by the sounds of it. Wish you two the best.
Sorry guys - I've been so busy catching up on other things after being gone two weeks - I havene't had time to watch the forum.
Dale E. - I would be happy to give any advice I can.
Thunder - yes - I knew you would be very proud of me for wearing the gold chain - actually it felt nice around my neck - so pretty...er ..eh - I mean... damn ... this is all YOUR doing...
I bought her a bikini before I left - as per her request - actually I bought two and a skimpy little "Santa Suit" (which wouldn't have covered one of Santa'a rolls) and she took great pleasure in modeling them for me as I took pictures. She is BEAUTIFUL and looks good in ANYTHING. Especially this stuff. Sorry - but these pictures are not for sharing.
While my hometown here in the US got 10 inches of snow - it rained slightly in Moldova and then snowed in the last week. People in Moldova use umbrellas when it snows. I did not know that before. But there they were all over Chisinau.
Only one run in with the law this time. While riding in a taxi, the driver took off early through an interersection running a yellow light (in Moldova the lights turn yellow before they turn green) and a police officer motioned for him to pull over. The officer gave my fiance and I the once-over but did not speak to us. The taxi driver paid him 50 lei (about $5.00) for a bribe in order not to have to pay the 130 lei ($13.00) he would have had to pay if ticketed.
Well Jet, seeing the fact that you're too stingy to send some really really nice skimpy teeny itsy bitsy juicy photo's, don't bother to offer those to be taken in say some 8 months.
For I like them skinny - yer whimme mate? Free asks if you've been indoors, but I KNOW it. And because of your remarks about those umbrellas I know you forgot your raincoats also ;-)
Just a thought - a bi-weekly visit to that Nebraska center, armed with cakes, cookies, chocolates, exquisite coffee and the like would not be an option I guess? Be your utter charming self (or somebody else, who cares) and when asked say you're so nice to them because they will be processing your application - this all without a single reference to time, period, duration or lazyness, let alone sneery remarks about lightyears.
One never knows, somebody ought to have a soft spot for such a nice generous over-the-moon person...
thats terrible Jet, I went to the Uk Embassy with my girl and she was granted 1 within a week, if I had not made a couple of monor mistakes, it would have been about 3 days....I feel for you US guys
