First of all - if you just go to Moldova and look around - each woman that passes you seems to be even more beautiful than the last. Okay there are a few ugly ones - but not many (and chances are they are are from somewhere else anyway). Moldovans have unique exotic dark features, if they have Romanian or similar lineage. There are also a lot of women with the beautiful features typical of Ukrainians. What a wonderful mix. Add to that the fact that, unfortunately, Moldova has a very bad economy. Declared recently the "least developed country in Europe" by the World Bank fully 1/10th of the population has left in recent years - mostly undocumented - to work abroad and send money home. The country is the only breakaway FSU nation to have a Communist President (elected by parliment) who in his early days in office renationalized several major companies - scaring away foreign investment which trickled in last year at barely $60 million dollars. So things are not likely to improve anytime soon. Moldovans have not had an easy time of it in recent years and the women are are sincere in their interest in finding western men. Moldovans are also noted for having especially strong family ties - even among other FSU nations - meaning that (unlike so many western women) they have a tendancyto be very sincere in their relationships and commitments. Of course there are always exceptions to any rule - and scammers in every country - but if you sincerely want to find a wonderful FSU woman, and are sincerely yourself (did I mention that Moldovans tend to be very perceptive too?) Moldova might just be the best place to look. I am certainly happy with the beautiful lady that I have found. jetmba. Moldova is ruled by clans, which are working under the hat of different political parties or big moldovan families. Companies are being renationalized again not because of the communistic philosophy, no - later they will be privatized for members of the own clan. Renationalism mostly follows the procedure, that some illegailities have been done during the first privatisation. But anyway: it is quite difficult for any foreing investor to operate successfully in Moldova. Just recently there is a case, where the owner of a big space is confronted with all different kinds of problems (weekly visits from tax authorities and similar things), only because another mighty person with close ties to acting government wants to have this space also. Well, the girls are beautiful in Moldova. But, Jet, I cannot agree, that family ties in MOldova are closer or stronger than in Russia or Ucraina. I think them to be of same quality. Sincerity? Honestly said, I prefer in Moldova to do with Russians/Ucrainians and less with native moldovans. From my experience, the slavic part of the population tends to be more sincere than the moldovan one. But of course, exceptions are all and everywhere. WT jetmba. I still can't believe it after my chubby Cuban. The first woman I wrote to was ethnically Armenian living in Mariupol. She was beautiful and definitely exotic but with the Armenian temper. I was warned of this and my friend Sergey was right as usual. It still baffles me to this day why she would blow everything out of the water by getting cute. Marina explained the situation in Moldova. They are poor, they are the poorest in the FSU. Consequently a possible suitor from America has to be careful. The woman in Mariupol was looking to jump ship I believe and that is why I heaved her. Do you want someone who really wants you and it is an added bonus that she is escaping poverty or the reverse? It is an important question. If it isn't answered correctly it will haunt you for the rest of your days. Russia is a better bet because they don't NEED to leave. However one of the pretiest women that ever wrote to me was from Moldova and I personally wouldn't rule it out. Let's face it they are all gorgeous and potentially wonderful wives when compared to an American woman. I recently got my face rubbed in it again over here and I am done, never again, I have finally learned my lesson. FSU all the way. Sorry about aussieman but he just had bad luck.
