Yes. That is a very good document but don't take it as written in stone. There are variations to everything and my lady has sunk it a couple of times. On the other hand the letter writing portion is very informative and it helped me a lot. I developed a very healthy relationship by following its advice. I would just caution that it is only advice. It helped me with 2 women one of whom I found through Elena's Models. I bought God knows how many addresses for $50 and only wrote to one. That site also has wrinkles but I think is very good. One particular thing I liked was that the search engine will allow you to plug in your own age. That way you don't waste your time looking at a whole bunch of women who are not interested in someone your age. Saves time. Overall it is very good. Lots of great free information there.
Elena's Models is typical russian site for naive americans. It's money sucker!!! There are a lot of worthy american sites, where you may find a worthy lady - educated, intelligent, no drama and heavy past luggage!!!And with very little money. What the rule is? to pay for the woman address! Horrible!!!And most of those women even don't know English. It's a stone age! I'm pitty those men, who allows to catch them.
It's a pay per letter site. So get ready to hear a sucking sound from the money leaving your wallet.
The site has some good information though. I did buy the book but I could not print it or e-mail it to anyone. It had some common sense stuff you could get from trolling other sites.
The scammer info is good too.
The problem with that site is the male to female ratio is just too far apart. The last time I checked it (which was almost 2 years ago now) There we're 21,000 men on the site and only 5000 women! Not very good odds trying to find a lady on there who will be into you, there's way too much competition. I'd hate to see how it is now, it's probably even worse now. Plus if you have the basic membership your profile is almost impossible for ladies to see on there as it gets put behind the men who pay for the top of the line membership.
I didn't know it was pay per letter, when did they start doing that? I remembered if you got the top of line membership that you could get unlimited correspondence with any lady on there. At least that's what I thought.
I personally didn't understand what was so great about this site, it is definetly over rated IMO anyways.
Elena's Models is not only a pay-per-letter site. If you go for the Platinum membership (yes I realise it's quite pricey), you can write to as many girls as you like. I believe they have a good anti-scam policy, but I know there are professional daters on the site. Generally it's a good site, with good search facilities, and lots of useful features - I especialy like the 'Expression of Interest' option, plus you can see when the girl has read your letter. Also the girls can write to you, but unlike some other sites I could mention, I never once had a girl write to me on there who I felt wasn't genuine.
As for the book, I think it's a bit long-winded, cheesey, and the title itself is somewhat narcissistic. I also think the information and advice is a touch out-of-date and one-sided (probably because it was written by a Russian woman). But nevertheless there are many useful points within. Definitely worth reading if you have the time.
I bought the book before I went to Ukraine. Its great for circa 1990-2000. It is absolutely waste of money for circa 2006+.
What it doesn't mention is that most of it is way out of date as far as culture and how much the customs have been westernized a great deal. This is my hypothesis on why so many girls have been corrupted with greed there lately. Now to impress a girl, one really has to be a multi-millionare to be considered rich. Where as 10+ years ago $50k a year was rich to someone living there. Still is to most, but not to the new modern girl dreaming of riches.
The only thing that I remembered of value was if a girl is not looking at you during an evening out and is cold, and unaffectionate she is not interested... because most women will let a man know how much she values his companionship at every opportunity... well that just depends on the girl, but its mostly true.
There are more than 30 Billionaires in Moscow now, it has more billionaires than any other city in the world resident there.
Lot more money now and money corrupts the girls standards..they want more and more so the Western tradesman jobs pay is not gonna be enough for them.
Elena though was a good catch for her husband, any one would want to fook her!
Elena Petrova is really out of date now, her husband and her got together in circa 1998 and he was South African and it went through the South African visa system and then in the early part of the new millenium, they migrated to Australia and she set up Elenas models here and the site has scammers on it, nothing can be guaranteed scammer free, even Miss Perfection "Elenas" site.
Things have changed a lot since she did it in both the "West" and Russia/Fsu. Theres been 911, the war on terror, Iraq etc. The worlds a different place now with a lot tougher visa rules to get girls in to the US,Australia,U.K,Canada etc. and authorities are more aware of immigration scams and have clamped down and scrutinise visa applications, far, far more and reject more too!
Its a different world, don't just rely on Elena!
ps: I have this e-book too
Elenas models is probably typical of marriage agencies. However in her ebook on pages 73 and 74 she tells you to avoid agencies that allow gentlemen to list free because other charges will be more than paying for a listing. So her ebook tells you to avoid her own site. I would question her aggressive stance on scamming. When I first started this search I chose 7 ladies on her site and sent with the flower delivery service on her site a single red rose to 5 of them with a photo return. I received one photo of a lady quite a few pounds heavier than her profile. 2 deliveries were made but I was told the delivery service had no photo capabilities. One lady was out of the country and according to the delivery policy I forfeit my money in this case. The fifth address did not exist(there was no such street address in the city she was from)delivery money also forfeited. I emailed her about this. I got no response. The lady stayed on her site. I waited a week or so and sent a more demanding email. A couple days later I got a reply from my first email as if the second had not been sent and then the lady was removed. So I paid for 5 flower deliveries and in my eyes one was successful. She did offer an address to replace the fake one but I told her no thank you. I did not need any more of that caliber of addresses.
Her book says to use an agency that verifies addresses. Evidently hers does not if one of the addresses did not exist. Bottom line she allows ladies to post profiles on the Internet without checks on them so men beware.
As to her popularity, if you click on the affiliate link at the bottom of any of her pages you will see that if you sign up with her and sell her ebook you are paid 67% of the retail price of it. Anything else you sell in the next 90 days after you direct a surfer to her site you get 25% of. So with all of the links of websites capitalizing on this pointing at her sight as well as the written content on her site google rates the site high.
Is she dishonest, I do not think so with the type of site she has she just cannot control the quality of women coming onto it. And now with pay per letter that she also despises in her ebook you do not even know if you are communicating with the lady or an interpreter. So the bottom line is if you take her ebook seriously you will avoid her site.
"The only thing that I remembered of value was if a girl is not looking at you during an evening out and is cold, and unaffectionate she is not interested... because most women will let a man know how much she values his companionship at every opportunity... well that just depends on the girl, but its mostly true"
You had to learn that from a book???
But there's good news then, there's many more books to learn from!
Easier to do too, and it saves you traveling and spending $1K per night. The best bit though, if you pay attention that is, is that you, probably & eventually, will learn that it does not depend on the girl - but on you.
The hard part will then start, p-practicing with r-real girls without s-ss-stttuttering.
LOL
jon b,
You didn't find out anything about them because that report was simply one guy's opinion who obviously had a chip on his shoulder.
He reports that on www.womenrussia.com she runs down all other agencies, well just go and view the site for yourself and establish if this guy was being factual when he said 'all' other agencies.
Who is she supposed to be ripping off, it is known that any database of women from far and wide locations cannot be verified, what did that guy expect, them to be all personally interviewed before going on the site?
It's a few years since I communicated with Elena Petrova or made use of her services but I always found her to be reasonable and I know for sure that if some proof of a scammer on her site was provided then that lady would be removed forthwith.
If her having a blacklist might be regarded as running down other agencies then there are a lot of agencies that are equally as guilty. So Jay from Texas didn't like the fact that Elena's is not American, is in Australia, thus not in a position to verify all ladies, so I guess all agencies located in USA are in a position to verify all ladies? What hogwash!
Jay complains that Elena's is outside of USA 'lawsuit' territory, what does he focking expect if he's looking for a lady from the other side of the world, the entire world to be just like it is at home?
If it is still the same as when I subscribed to it for a period of time some years back the membership includes X amount of letters, I cannot recall the amount but I never got close to using up my quota.
The good thing was that you could send the lady(s) an expression of interest and you need only write to them if they respond to your expression thus you only need write to ladies that have expressed an interest in writing with you.
But it is not a pay per letter site and you are, in most cases, writing directly with the lady(s), there are some agencies that post ladies on there but if they ask for correspondence expenses then just report them to Elena.
I bought the book and liked it. It is a little outdated but there are many tid bits
about the culture etc that still are good to know today. If you buy the book and it
saves you from just one problem then it's most likely worth the cost.
You are correct Martin. Elena's models is not a pay per letter site. I should have checked that before writing my last post but went off of the previous posts. There is an option to buy the address of the ladies which as far as I am concerned is the only way to go.
Still submitting profiles via the Internet leaves room for deception. So take your pick. An honest agency with dishonest women, a dishonest agency with honest women, or any combination of the two. And who is who.
As age settles in, Elena is going to lose her so-called, "Model" looks. She's not going to be young forever. In the future, she'll change her book to, "How To Find And Marry Someone Younger And More Attractive Than Me." LOL
I wouldn't spend one penny on someone who thinks her **** doesn't stink.
Thank you Olga and I agree. If I cannot get an address I will not communicate very long. But this does not necessarily leave the pay per letter sites out. It just takes some negotiations to get the address from them. And I am not sure these ladies are not more genuine. They are just shielded behind letter writers.
Well, dear people, maybe I am one of those guys who were lucky... Here's my story on dating Russian (in my case Moldovan) girls. I met my date on livedatesearch, an absolutely free website, no tricks, no hidden traps, only a lot - and I mean a lot of scammers.
But, with some patience and a lot of common sense I managed to filter out most of the scamletters. Good advise: scam letter appear in my opinion almost always in the same appereance:
*They don't use the complete witdh of the screen (as they were writte in another editor - as they probably usually are)
*They consist of three parts: a personal one, using your name, the way you met,... followed by a general one, that is remarkably 'complete', where the scammer talks about herself on a semi-professional way and of course photos, not one, usually two and not too much to keep the hunger alive.
*their emailadresses are also quite - hmmm... unreal: cherygirl4you@... me4you@... etc It's a sign, a big one!!
I have 'met' scammers, but I have also met real, genuine girls, with real genuine phones and real genuine emailadresses, I even met girls here in Europe, dated them, and... I met my Moldovan cutie... She's not a princess like some of the (unreal) girls are, but she's a headturner (and i mean a real headturner!!), she's very intelligent (2 univeristy degrees) and she has values European girls absolutely have lost. I am NOT talking about being submissive, or cleaning and cooking all day. I just mean she is very devoted, unbelievably passionate and warm-blooded (yummie) and grateful...
AND... she's sitting next to me while writing these lines because we're laughing about our experience, the way we met, etc.
We live together now, she works here in a big multinational where she doesn't need the local language soo much.
I read the Elenabook and I must say that an eastern girl is maybe still different in the way she thinks and acts, but they're all women/girls, and with some common sense you can easily live with a russian or eastern-europe girl.
I don't know what it is with American guys, they tend to have a not-so-good reputation nowadays, when I listen to my girl... Is it their lack of culture, the fact some american men still think they rule the world? Don't know, anyway, a European guy is top on the list, especially french, Swiss, Holland of Belgium guys, but also scandinavians.
So, guys, forget the book, be who you are - you won't last long when keeping up appareances and go for it! You won't regret, at least I didn't...
