I've been writing to a girl from lugansk she seems nice enough but she asked me to send money $90 for a month unlimited internet,I asked her to send me a picture with my name on a piece of paper and a picture holding her passport she has done this no questions asked what do you think send the money or not the e-mails are coming from a internet cafe is this a reasonable rate?
Oh is it?
And you've got her name appearing in the passport, and let me guess she asked you to use Western Union?
Tell her you will do so, and she will respond with a name of the person who will collect it. Maybe the same as her passport's, maybe not, but in any case this moment, when you have these names that is, is the start of you doing some homework.
Enter them into a search engine with words such as scam, russian, woman etc, and see what bounces.
But even if nothing does, there's 1 (one) rule in this 'game' - do NOT send money to somebody you have not met. Rule 2 is rule 1, but especially not to someone in Lugansk. Enter lugansk, scam, women etc in a SE and....
Do your own homework Billy, and if you don't like it just pay whatever she asks for. Just don't complain here afterwards.
You know what they say about sending money - DON't
I was furious with my lady friend because she sold her fur coat because she needed money. She wouldn't ask me. Then she had a sudden job change and I was so worried I called her and said that if you need anything just tell me. She wouldn't take a cent from me. That is a genuine woman. Keep looking Billy.
Billy,
Poeple who send money to FSU women they have never met are GUILTY of perpetuating the scam industry.
What you, a western man, consider a generous or even compassionate gesture is construed in the east as just plain idiocy that deserves to be fleeced until you learn your lesson.
Many generous (idiotic) men have been taken advantage of like that. I feel no sympathy for men who do not take the time to learn the customs of the countries the cyber explore in search of a woman, whatever your goals may be.
DO NOT SEND MONEY...!!!!
If you're so desperate to do so, I'll mail you my address and you can send me a check instead to help me fun my kids college education.
Billy,
Does she tell you she uses a lady who translates her letters, that's a regular Loo-Gangster one.
Does her email address have an underscore in it, another Loo-Gangster trademark. If her email is sveta_bloggs@mail.ru do a google.com search for the 'sveta_bloggs' bit.
Then, have a look at www.uaprofilers.com then, and as has already been suggested, go to google.com and enter her full name, if you don't have her full name then don't even think about sending money.
Then search her first name first name followed by 'lugansk', and then followed by 'scam' if the first of these doesn't work.
In one thing you guys are already right. A real Russian lady will faster die of starvation than ask for any money. Can't get used to it myself although I was born here. If she asks - say good bye to her.
Felice IS Russian (or Ukrainenan), but you DON'T want a date with this person because he is Ukrainean (or Russian). Ah whatever, I'm sure you'll get the point ;-)
THANKS at lot!!!! All the 23 women I'm corresponding with turn out to be wanted, but like in the 'nailed-to-a-tree' kind!
Right, starting back from scratch again.
"I came across your profile and suddenly my abdomen stirred, and my wallet jumped. I really like...." ;-)))
as a new user 23 scammers Thunder .....suddenly I'm getting second, third even fourth thoughts regarding this. Sorry to hear that but at least you found out now not when you were half-way to the airport.
just a side note maybe we could start a thread with a list of thier numbers so we can cross reference each others numbers so when we come across one we can add it to the list so others can be warned......just an idea.

Sandman
HE'S KIDDING. We have already had several vigilantes after scammers. First Knight, Australiaman etc etc. It is not worth it. You just learn what to dodge and move on with your life.
As I have said before I am actually very grateful to the little scammer who got me into this. If it wasn't for her I wouldn't be as happy as I am right now. Even if I am going to freeze various parts of my anatomy off in about 9 days.
I don't know if I trust UAprofiler too much. I have read that they are grabbing some honest womens pics off of the web and posting them and stealing some pictures and posts from legitmate websites to make them look as they are doing a great job when all they want to do is sell you their service. I have done some research on them and I don't know if who is trying to con who here yet. Some decent girls maybe getting the shaft without knowing there are being posted. It's amazing all this bullshit over a buck!
I have no idea about that, you might be right, or not...
my father used to say; "I don't care, it is only speculations..."
I don't mean to be rude, but any how we put it, it is rumours and speculations. I have been tried scammed by two girls, and they are both there, and that is no mistake -for sure! (I wasn't the one to report them..)
But I agree to the fact that some innocent girls can get their names on places like that because of an selfish guy she dumped, wasn't interested in or something...
A lot of psychos out there among us men!
Bottomline: Be careful, especially if you find her name on a list of scammers!
