I got a phone call about 3AM last night, it was my princess. By the tone in her voice I knew right away our journey was finally over. WE GOT OUR VISA!!! This month is our 1 year anniversary, I can't believe its been a year already. Being apart from my Natasha has been like a jail sentence for me. Well, in just a week or two she will finally arrive in good ol Lee county.
My big concern now is her adjustment to life in the US. She has a degree in accounting and went to school for interior design so I should be able to keep her mind busy in my home construction business. I know she is not allowed to hold a job or anything like that but I don't want her to get bored sitting at home. Now comes the challenge of making sure she adjusts to her new life without any problems.
If i could give out thanks, it would be to my lawyer for making it possible for me to continue my day to day life knowing that this matter was in professional hands and for his staff reassuring my princess throughout the entire process. It definitly helped keep her mind at ease. Second I would thank a few people I met along the way that kept me focused. Without those words of assurance I may have never gotten on that plane the first time. And I can't leave out this forum, I discovered this place existed back in July '03 and I really cant put a price on the information I got here and some of the friends I met along the way. Good Luck to All of You!!!!!! I will be back every now and then to let you all know how Natasha is adjusting to life here. Next month we will be married, maybe I will post a few photos for you to see if your interested. I can't explain my feelings right now.... I'm so happy and at the same time a little bit drained. I need a nice rest now that this weight is off my shoulders. I need a drink, lol.
Crash,
Quit your day job and move to California to write acceptance speeches for overpaid, underachieving Hollyweird actors and actresses dreaming of winning an Oscar or a Golden Globe..:)))
Crash Congrats and Godspeed my friend, now the only two things left for me is bringing my lady home and a Mark Martin Championship, oh the hell with Mark, I'll take the lady.
