He refers to feminists (sometimes affectionately called femi-nazis) who think that american men should have to settle with the fare that they are given - specifically THEM.
They resent that "those women (of the FSU) are taking all of our good men!!"
If they looked in mirrors and listened to themselves speak - they would know WHY the best of us look to the FSU.
Ahh ok and this is sooo true why I am so tired of the good OL USA women all they think of is me me me and of how much money I have in my pocket . My girl Tanya has never once asked me for money and only thinks of us together
I know this goes against all of what we might know about tourist visas, but on my connecting flight from Kyiv to Munich last monday i actually sat next to the most beautiful little Ukrainian lady of 19 years old . She was hot. 5`5" 110 lbs.and oh so pretty with good english. I about shit when she said she was from of all places "LUGANSK". I contained myself but it was a great 2 hour and 20 minute flight with her. Anyways i was quite interested in her busuness in America being the nosey one and she says she has no problem getting a tourist visa to the USA. I asked her how and it goes against all that we think we might know but i think she has influence and is in the right circle. First this is her third trip in two years to USA. She says her Ukrainian sister married a successful Russian businessman and they live in San Diego. She also said her father is a prominent doctor in Kyiv and she has no American boyfriend . In fact she loves her homeland and Ukrainian boyfriend . So guys maybe knowing the right people and making the payoff can get that visitors visa also. I can say this is one thumb up for Lugansk !!!
You guys are great . Thanks so very much for everything . and I hope someday I may be able to help someone . oh and if anyone is going to Russia in July let me know E-Mail me would like to hook up was told the buddy system was best when going
I meet pople over there all the time who are amzed atthe American perception that says - "I have my rights." "I have a piece of paper that says this!"
In the FSU "rights" don't mean a whole lot. What matters is, who you know, what influence you have, whther or not you are willing to bribe, and after all else your ability to argue. It also helps to reach the right beauracrat, in a good mood or when he is too distracted by other things (as in coming through customs) to demand renumeration from you.
I have a friend from Kirovohgrad who is married and living in New York. Her sister has come to stay with her on a student visa. Basically, the husband shows proof of financial stability and is what is called a "sponsor". This is a variant of approach which I do not see discussed here, and I wonder if anybody knows more about it. I know that under the stipulations of the student visa, the person must attend classes at least 18 hours a week. There is also a business variant of the visa--does anybody know anything about this? I am certain the woman can not claim babysitting as an occupation.
My lady has not much money, no powerful relatives, no connections to speak of - but she has the ability to argue effectively. And she also has the knowledge to backdown when neccessary rather than to irritate when doing so would not be to her advantage.
Her negotiation skills are quite remarkable, brought about by neccessity.
Hey jet can you hook your girl up with mine to help her (joke) . how many times have you been there to see her I have never been I just got my passport the other day .
It goes without saying tha any woman granted a tourist visa must have a finacially secure American sponsor. The basic visa application asks who will finance the trip and as her sponsor you have to fill out an Affidavit of Support shwoing that you are financially secure. She still needs to prove - through other means - that she will return.
There are a number of visas that you can use to bring someone over as an employee (if that is what you are getting at). Some for occupations requiring special skills - some for in essence summer workers who will not be allowed to return to the US for anyreason for some predetermined time afterward.
I don't have specific information for emplyment visas in front of me but it is available from the State Department website.
WMFERG,
I absolutely am falling in love with this city. I am getting quite comfortable with it. I have covered a lot of good ground there. I was hooked up with a historian tour guide translator who was my girlfriend for about a year. So i had the cream of the cream. I can get there and be there without any help now . I am trying to learn the language but it is difficult for me. I actually would like to move there. I can give it all up here to be there. Maybe i am just dreaming . They want to be here and i want to be there. The people are friendly and the women just keep getting better and better. I quit explaining my secret to people here . They just cant understand what they dont know and what i have experienced.
I always enjoy any time I spend in Kyiv, actually I think that I just like Ukraine in general. It looks like this present relationship might be going south on me and if it does then I will still look to Ukraine for any future relations. I have even considered retireing somewhere in the Odessa region in ten years or so.
I dont know what to say about the Ukrainian women as a whole on this website but my experiences have uncovered alot of snakes and dishonest agencies. I dont reveal everything on this forum but fiance knows what i know and it is a lot and nasfan knows alot too.
The women on this sight are just a needle in a haystack. They are very miniscule to what is actually out there on location. Wmferg, just walking down Kreshatyk i think you know what i mean. I havent met a lady yet who i do not think i could not get a date with if i went there with out meeting women from this sight.
Every lady i met shows a genuine interest in Kyiv. They are simply nice.
I just cant find for now a lady who does not want children . I want a younger woman in her late twenties or early thirties and if you say you do not want children it is over. I just keep looking. I dont want to be collecting my pension in 15 years and raising a family. I want adult vacations in my retirement and right now. I like kids but it is past my age of being 45.
My one observation about the Ukraine and Kyiv is that everything about most of them and not all is money money money and if your American lookout. But it is hard for them to pull that on me now.
Yes i would like to live and or retire there in 15 years or maybe in the near future and yes hopefully my future wife will be from over there.
I have actaully never been to Kyev - my exposure to Ukraine was the two weeks I spent in Odessa (one of my favorite places in the world).
I am emplyed with an organization that has dealings in Ukraine. And I am far from retirement. I am looking, right now, to see if there is any possibility of my working in Ukraine - making a nice American salary while living in the FSU seems like the perfect situation.
