Just looking back and reading through the Forum has filled me in on alot . Some things that hit to close to home . Just want to Thank everyone for the postings . and keep the good work up .

OK just some things that make me go Hmmm? As you know I meet a girl in Cheboksary we have been writing now back and forth for 4 months allmost evryday I did not meet her on this site . She has called me once a week for the last 2 monts . Never to ask for money .Even (dumb me) offerd to send her some and she said no . now she tells me she is going to try to get her Visa to the US . and also she has sent me many photos of her and her son. ok now for the Hmmm ? 1 she contacted me on Yahoo personals 2 her parents are both dead 3 she has no phone and gos to a pay phone 4 After 4 months of not meeting she says I LOVE YOU. Ok Im not saying she not real but now after going back and reading (thanks once more) Im going to hire a P.I. to look into it .But I did put myself on Fiance.com and have a few girl writing me and Yes .I AM STILL GOING TO GO IF SHE IS NOT REAL ! I still need the Vacation and the girls here for the most just bite !

If it is a scam (and it could very well be) I will tell you how it is likely to end. She will need money for the visa and the airline ticket and maybe to pay someone to watch her son (no parents so they can't do it). And if she fires this at you when she thinks you are ready (if you are, indeed ready) then in one single swoop she will collect a very nice reward. I don't know you. Maybe you have such a warm and wonderful personality and such a nice voice that this girl HAS fallen in love with you in four months. It could happen. (It has happened to some.) A friend of mine had much the same thing happen as you describe. She contacted him ove Yahoo Personals. She also contacted me - but I was to busy dealing with the real ones that I KNOW exist that I only wrote back to her once. When she felt he was weady she asked for (I forget exactly but I think it was) $1,800. I told him not to pay. Finally - instead of paying he told her that he would VISIT HER. THAT blew the top off the scam. Suddenly her English actually improved and she wanted nothing to do with him. In your last paragraph you mention that YOU are going to go see HER. Does SHE KNOW this yet? I'm betting that she doesn't. Would love to hear what she says (if its a scam) when she finds out.

Yea just as jet said. Give her an arrival date that you will visit her in her city (even if in the interim you make a date up, you can always change it later) This will flush out any pending scam. If they (scammers) know you are coming to them, they will drop you and move onto another man that wants to sit back and expect them to come to him. Good luck

Be careful about giving a phoney date that you will visit. I've had women go all-out for me when they knew exactly when I was going to visit. I've seen it happen for other guys too. Toad's lady specifically arranged vacation - as did a lady who met a friend of mone in Odessa - and it was unrevokable once arranged. If she IS real this is NOT something you want to screw up between you. Especially if there is any chance that you can't really leave on those days.

Yes she knows I am going there in July .(She says that if or when she gets here to he US we will go back together) there are to many things that seem true but others that dont. and yes I contacted a P.I. anyone know or ever use one befor ? Thanks for the help .

I never used a PI before. But its interesting that she want to visit you first (ideally) before you go there in July (that you can go back together). Frankly if she DOESN'T ask for money in her attempt to see you before July - she might be real - but there are too many red flags to make that seem likely. It is SO tough for a young single Rusian woman to get a tourist visa to the US. (And that fact alone provides good fodder for her to ask for money to "grease the skids", pay the proper bribe for that difficult to get visa).

Ben, sounds a bit suspicious for me, that on one side she has no telephone at home (it is only a question of money) and on the other side to have funds enough for organizing flight and visa to the US. I think you should find one or two other female candidates in Cheboksary, so that there will be a sense for you to take a flight to there. And then you will find the reality. Good luck! WT
