I can tell you shit loads of actual happenings to me on this sight. I went in to this with wide eyed wonderment and got knocked on my ass plenty of times. I dont trust agencies and i dont trust private e-mailers but i have learned to trust my own instincts. After a while you will get tired of e-mailing and will just go. Like freebird said here, first time never go without a back up plan. These chicks are all completely different when you meet them in person. Most but not all. And dont be surprised when you meet them they are cold because they were never replying to you in the first place because their agencies were doing it for them the whole time. You will have good experiences as well as the bad but if you keep plugging away weeding them out you will eventually meet the right one and it may take a few trips. But when you do go there you will find in retrospect that a websight is only a small tool but it helps. I mean you will like it so much over there that you would be confident enough to just go there and meet a lady on your own. I personally wish i would have looked into the FSU about ten or more years ago. Like someone just said , it is a single mans paradise. jetmba. I'm paying V.I.P. prices so some smelly old guy can return letters for them? These girls that are listed with the "agency" is not necessarily fiance.com but some other third party fiance.com has no idea about? So they can say they had no idea and were victims too? Are they even getting my e-mails?I thought the girls signed up with fiance.com then checked thier e-mails like we do. either at home on the computer or at a internet cafe. If she calls discuss meeting her there. Its obvious that you have some feelings for her. But it makes little sense for (and the red flags go up for) her coming to America first. Why? If she is legitimate and you hit it off there is always time for that later. My guess is that, having told her you will only visit her and not send money for her to buy a visa, she will blow-you-off. A back-up plan is an excellent idea if you are commited to going. Even if she is a scammer its possible that she WON'T blow-you-off. It might be HER backup plan to let you come over and then scam you then. It should be obvious to you as she is doing it. Though virtually every FSU cities have marriage agencies where you can regularly meet and date women with little notice, they might not be the ones you are lookng for. Backusp list will afford you a genuine opportunity to spend time with someone you are REALLY interested in if the first one ends up being the scammer that we all think she is. I have my own personal case files on agencies that were writing fictional letters for ladies that they simply took their photos and everything else after that was bogus. I will tell you what i do know are the facts for me . First i am not condemming all agencies. Some are good and some are plain old corrupt. Fiance.com has absolutely no way of filtering out who is writing the replys. They dont have the means to do so. They simply wait till it is obvious that you are getting screwed and only after you have reported it to them . Not them to you. That is all they can do period. Marrige agencies are one of the biggest growth industries in the former FSU. Guess what sells? Hot young women desiring aging older men and aging older men wanting a hot young women. And it is a good seller.So lets keep pumping out those replys and canned letters because that is our paycheck. My close Ukrainian friend worked for a marriage agency and got out because of how they are ordered to write and pull your chain. I have had fiance.com employees tell me that there are many corrupt marriage agencys and they cannot monitor it .Maybe it is an old man with good english writing your replys. I can give you specifics but i do not want to go there . Let me finish this to say that there are good stories also and good agencies i am sure . But i would like to be the first to know which ones they are. Tell me if I get this right or wrong. Instead there are "other" agencies that are posting these girls profiles up through them.These girls generally don't have access to a computer such as internet cafe's and can't respond directly? Is that why it is taking so long for me to get any response? I want to hear the GOOD and the BAD. They have a contract together. Fiance is in Ekaterinaberg and they have an office or branch in the usa. They do not have a office everywhere a woman`s city is listed. You are right, registered agencies post these womens profiles through fiance , these women, and sometimes they are bound (under contract) with their own agency . They can only make contact through their agency , through fiance and then to you. But fiance does not edit or screen letters . But the ladys agency can and sometimes they do . It is the truth . Some but not all. Fiance tries to keep an eye on these agencies but that is impossible without your input. About the ladies with private e-mail. They have their own computor at home or work or they go to an e-mail cafe. Fiance claims they have no real quality control system over private e-mailers only to remove them if they try to scam . Where as they penalize and fine agencies or remove them if they violate the contract or scam . I do know from my questions to several ladies i have met in person about their e-mail activity towards men is that sometimes they simply do it once a week depending if they have time to get to a cafe or agency. Sometimes they just have too many letters to answer and this is where the agencies get sinister. Their writers simply fire out bullshit half answered letters to the men . Do you honestly think a MISS WOW sits down and answers each letter specifically???? Fat chance. And then other women i have met at socials and elsewhere simply beleive e-mails are a waste of time because they simply feel the man will never show up anyway. A lot of women are registered with fiance who simply lose interest and never go to the e-mail cafes . These women are the ones who never reply. I feel the best replys are the ones who decline . That is direct honesty. After 15 months of solid e-mailing i have found about only ten who can write a real genuine reply answering all my questions and then it just may be a good agency writer with a good personality. I am trying to be objective and not negative , but this is my experience. When you ask a lady what the names of her children are and her favorite food is and her letter is some crazy abstract reply and misses those questions as if she is almost stupid , well then you figure it out. Maybe their translator machine is broke down. As i said some not all , but my odds are working against it. My good side of it was being there and actually meeting ladies who were private e-mailers . At least i knew they had to write their own letters. I as you can tell do not beleive in something until it is in front of me. Try asking an agency women for her phone number and personal contact info . They usually miss that question. I have done just that LoL I was sitting here thinking how the hell could I tell if she is writing me or some geek behind some desk chewing on a half smoked,saliva enveloped cigar,churning out Love letters in his smoke filled little office to us laughing his butt off.It's not that I'm normally skeptical........ok it's because normally I'm skeptical...."if it's to good to be true yada yada yada".I decided to ask her for her phone number. 4 days ago I also sent her flowers and requested a photo of her ON MARCH 8TH.So far nothing they are still "delivering". But I keep getting new photos of her in her apartment with each letter. but the "important" questions are ignored and I sent her a letter with just questions I wanted answered. Why can they not answer specific questions that are layed down in black and white.I translate it as stupidity or the agency is trying or her to play me. Most not all. I mean if i am asked about my job, i dont start writing about sports. My most important questions or at least half of them are consistently ignored. The bottom line is you cant tell and either can fiance.com . But time does tell and so should your natural instincts which will wise up with experience.
