I recently recieved two letters from two diffrent women both from Riga. I cut and copied and will paste excerpts from both letters.
I want to find a man abroad, because I believe they are more reliable and patient. Since my childhood I believed in the
legend, that long ago there was a creature, which had one-woman part of a body, and one-man part. And it was a harmony,
but evil parted them, and since that time they seek for each other on this planet…. That is what I believe. I seek for
my half on the planet. Thank God now it is easier than in Soviet times. (Joking)
And now for the second letter
First I would like to clear the question why I seek for a foreign man? I will answer. Here men are so boring, so unsure
in tomorrow, and I have never met my second half here. But since my childhood I believed in the legend, that long ago
there was a creature, which had one-woman part of a body, and one-man part. And it was a harmony, but evil parted them,
and since that time they seek for each other on this planet…. That is what I believe. I seek for my half on the planet.

Now look how the three dots are the same after the word planet. And the word joking is in parenthesis HIGHLY unlikely two diffrent people would place such a mark. I don't know maybe I'm being paranoid what do you think? I mean it is EXACTLY the same excerpt word for word puncuation for puncuation.
To be honest that is the only thing that did stick out that was identical but they were written 2 weeks apart by (supposedly) two diffrent women. Am I being too detail oriented or did my bells and whistles go off with just cause?~~Sandman~~
These women have SHE-MALE fetishes...what other interpretation can anyone give to that legend, uh uh uh?
Cut the cord through the thinnest part, mate.
Ask for:
1. phone numbers (they all have cell phones- if they work)
2. Ask for home addresses (they all live somewhere)
3. Ask for family member names, ages, etc (none of them was planted in a cabbagge patch)
OK so the translator maybe "helping" them out to put into english what they want to say and they're using the same form. I can accept that but the placement and puncuation is so exact it's scary.I'll see where this goes..... but my radar is on full ping constant sweep.~~Sandman~~ Thanks Bill
TO be honest, I would not even bother try to check these girls out..
Well.. I might send them copies of the other letter and ask for an explanation.. I bet you will never get an explanation.. Probably you will never hear from them again... Just write: This is what another woman wrote me... This is what you wrote... Please tell me how this is possible...
you surely know that the expression 'my other half' comes from this widespread fairytale? As common as Donald Duck where you live, one of those differences in culture I suppose.
That said, the similarity is a bit much, and indeed I'd 'cross-examine' them by sending each the other mail-excerpt. Phonies also use templates you see, so let them get more inventive.
I thought of that Thunderdome. That was my first instinct was to e-mail them the same template. Then I thought why educate them this way makes it so much easier for me to spot the PHONIES.~~Sandman~~
But honestly I'm guessing that these two women have just had a lto of help writiong their initial template latter.
The "other half" story is one I have heard many times as well. There is, most likely, some coaching done to tell these women what to say as opposed to merely word for word translation. It is difficult to translate word for word and to get the intended concept to come out.
Now suppose the lady expresses the desire to get the "second half" story into her template. As her coach/translator, would you want to reinvent the wheel each time. Have her describe a possibly difficult to explain legend and then transalte it word for word regardless of the unintended misunderstanding that could result.
Or would it be better, that if he lady expresses a desire to tell that story YOU (her coach/translator) have w prewritten explanation of the legend that you can cut and past in?
I agree also with that assesment and thought of that as well jet. I guess I'll just have to play it by ear and see how far the rabbit goes in the hole.It was just something that made me go Hmmmmmmmm.... :)~~Sandman~~
