I already sent $1100. I went for it hook, line and sinker. She sent her address and ever a copy of her passport. I told her I wanted to pay here in the US but she gave me the song and dance about the travel agency could process the visa much faster. She answered my ad on Yahoo. She is 31 and I am 53. She fell in love and wants to come visit, bla bla bla. Yes I was dooped. I just sent the money a few days ago. She says her parents are selling their garage for 500. to pay for the rest of the ticket. I think she is going to try for more money. I understand now she can't even get a vistors visa in Russia to travel to the US. So her whole story is a fake baby pictures and all. Is there anything I can do to make her think twice next time she try this scam. The copy of passport sure looks real. Is probaby not possile she is being scamed by travel agency. Is it? Is there anything I can do besides adding her to as many Black lists as possilble. But of course you haven't sent it... She will get back to you telling you there was no money for her.. Then tell her you must have read some of the numbers wrong, give her a new reference number, this time with one number changed, she will go back again, and once again, no money... You can go on like this for a while, at least you have the pleasure of knowing she is standing in a line for some time waiting, and also she will feel kind of silly when there is no money for her at all.. I don't think there is much other to do, except report her to UAprofiler.com or something like that. I know some guy reported a woman directly to Putin, telling she had received money, and probably haven't paid taxes for it... She got arrested.. Twilli, I admire and appreciate your ability to take this crappy experience and share it openly with the forum. Don't mind the jokes...at one point or another, we all met a scammer who tried or did fleece us of some cash. Chalk it off to another life lesson learnt. The most important thing is to keep from labeling ALL FSU women scammers just because one got your number. If you look back on my posts you'll find one that explains how I narrowed down the list of ladies I considered non-scammers and fairly compatible. Without agencies, with language skills, etc etc etc... And I still ended up with initial correspondence to more than 400 ladies. Don't quit. Directly underneath the Hotel was a Internet Cafe. I spent 1-2 hours most evenings in there. I witnessed every time, many many beautiful YOUNG ladies in groups of 2-3 sitting at a rented Puter and writing, lots of giggling and discussing. I wish now I had of had more guts and bowled up to these chicks and asked if I could help with their English dialogue they were communicating with. I could see English was what they were reading and writing, with some difficulty too. Now - I looked as Western as you can get. Blond hair (heaps of it N()R, sorry) my dress, complexion and of coarse my ancient !! Not one of these many little groups I saw even did a double take look of me. I am not bad looking and dress smart etc. So I wonder what these little beauties were up too ??? The old saying "if it looks to good to be true, it probably is" notice I said probably, not all of the beautiful ones are just in for a free ride. I will not allude to the subject of which I write,except to say that I am not shallow and superficial,so it is not something that matters to me---by the way,I used to shave for years,and in this time I also got 2 tattoos on my head. I wrote what I did out of experience. Many women like a clean shaven man,and my experience is that stubble bristles!! I loved the feeling of Santa Anna wind on my pate,and how sensitive and alive the follicles felt when exposed to any weather condition.
