When I dated my Ukrainian girl I thought that hmm.. shes ukrainian, shes probable awsome in bed!!! with those long boring winter nights, what eles is there to do??? Well bend me and fuck me sideways!!! she was a virgin!!! and when I even introduced the possibilty of doing anything but misionary or the her on top position, she flipped, once she even locked herself in the bathroom for and hour when I dried doggy on her!!! This post is about sex right??? ha ha ha, well if this doesnt get the post deleted nothing will!!!
What do you want? "there is no sex in the USSR" - this motto was presented in life of people for many years:) And parents try to bring up children the same way, even without thinking about it, it is just a habit...time is needed to change things:)
And after all it depends on people...my parents brought me a magazine in which it was explained how children appear, when I was 7 years old:) And such questions were discussed...but I think that it is not a rule in the families here...
Many parents are shy to talk to children about sex...or "what would my neighbors think about me?":))
I think you are right. But people are people.. Why are molded through life, and we do change... I think you guys that are worried about sex just have to be patient, and let your woman grow into it. Give her confidence and make her understand she is special, and these things will happen by themselves... One woman is not the same in two different relationships, just as men also act different in different relationships...
"What do you want? "there is no sex in the USSR" - this motto was presented in life of people for many years:) And parents try to bring up children the same way, even without thinking about it, it is just a habit...time is needed to change things:)"
"...if you never have sex, chances are your children will never have sex either..."
and, by the way: The birth-rate is actually going down, is it not?
When we went to dinner at Lena's Mother's home I asked Nadya (Lena translated) what she thought were the most significant social differences since the change from soviet communism to a capitalistic system.
Her own words were: "During soviet times nobody had or talked about sex (while she rolled her eyes), since the soveits left, that's all people talk about these days..<sigh>..people are happy now that they can have sex more openly"
And it was the right politics. There was not such relationship as boy – friend in former Soviet Union among young people. And people felt pity to older divorcee who does not have a husband – just a man to live with. She was a loser.
That is why the rate of divorce was externally low and most normal women have only one person in thire live. It was much better. People were much happier.
Yes, after disintegration of Soviet Union the first change that people saw was a lot of pornography on TV and in magazines. And society attitude to sex and family do really changed. The most popular slogan among yanger people now is – sex is not the reason to get acquainted.
geriatrix, it is one of the minister's made this motto to life "there is no sex in the USSR" meaning that a man and a woman in a marriage or not, should think about only work for the communist party, and relationship is such a silly thing, when there is such a big goal in front of us. Men and women had to have sex only to born new future members of the communist party, and children had to be brought up with the idea that there is nothing higher then the communist party.
If you have read "1984" then you have read about the USSR and it's ideology:)
Going a Little Orwellion on us? 1984 was an excellent book, but to truly understand your lifestyle and what you experienced, The Communist Manifesto, would be all you need to read. Also one must
study the Ten Planks of the manifesto to truly understand the evil behind it. Unfortunately my country now embraces many of those ideas
which I have had a vehement disdain for, for many years. That's why when Larissa had worries about coming to america, I said don't worry
Comrade you'll won't feel much culture shock."Your papers please!" Should be the preamble to the Patriot Act. So Toadie my friend don't think for a minute that the communist party has been defeated it is alive and well and in a place you think it isn't!
Have you ever seen "Other People's Money"? Very underrated film. I love the speech he gave his legal staff when the opposition managed to get a temporary restraining order on him.
"and when capitalism goes, the communists come out. Don't kid yourself, they are OUT THERE, hiding in bushes. And what happens when communists come? They first kill all the lawyers!"
Devito's ending speech was worth the movie.
Garfield: Amen. And amen. And amen. You have to forgive me. I'm not familiar with the local custom. Where I come from, you always say "Amen" after you hear a prayer. Because that's what you just heard -- a prayer. Where I come from, that particular prayer is called "The Prayer for the Dead." You just heard The Prayer for the Dead, my fellow stockholders, and you didn't say, "Amen."
This company is dead. I didn't kill it. Don't blame me. It was dead when I got here. It's too late for prayers. For even if the prayers were answered, and a miracle occurred, and the yen did this, and the dollar did that, and the infrastructure did the other thing, we would still be dead. You know why? Fiber optics. New technologies. Obsolescence. We're dead alright. We're just not broke. And you know the surest way to go broke? Keep getting an increasing share of a shrinking market. Down the tubes. Slow but sure.
You know, at one time there must've been dozens of companies making buggy whips. And I'll bet the last company around was the one that made the best g--damn buggy whip you ever saw. Now how would you have liked to have been a stockholder in that company? You invested in a business and this business is dead. Let's have the intelligence, let's have the DECENCY to sign the death certificate, collect the insurance, and invest in something with a future.
"Ah, but we can't," goes the prayer. "We can't because we have responsibility, a responsibility to our employees, to our community. What will happen to them?" I got two words for that: Who cares? Care about them? Why? They didn't care about you. They sucked you dry. You have no responsibility to them. For the last ten years this company bled your money. Did this community ever say, "We know times are tough. We'll lower taxes, reduce water and sewer." Check it out: You're paying twice what you did ten years ago. And our devoted employees, who have taken no increases for the past three years, are still making twice what they made ten years ago; and our stock, one-sixth of what it was ten years ago.
Who cares? I'll tell ya: Me. I'm not your best friend. I'm your ONLY friend. I don't make anything? I'm makin' you money. And lest we forget, that's the only reason any of you became stockholders in the first place. You wanna make money! You don't care if they manufacture wire and cable, fried chicken, or grow tangerines! You wanna make money. I'm the only friend you've got. I'm makin' you money.
Take the money. Invest it somewhere else. Maybe, maybe you'll get lucky and it'll be used productively. And if it is, you'll create new jobs and provide a service for the economy and, God forbid, even make a few bucks for yourselves. And if anybody asks, tell 'em ya gave at the plant.
