Theres around 12 million People including the Metro Areas
in Moscow. I was looking at the crime rate of New York which has 19 million
including metro areas.
So things are higher and lower in Moscow.
I looked at the weekly totals for both.
Big Cities Are almost going to have rates like this,
No matter where you live.
The couple things that really caught my eye
were the missing persons and the body's found.
ONE,
Since most men here looking for a russina wife will NOT move to Moscow, I think those stats are irrelevant and serve little purpose other than paint a negative picture.
It would be more relevant to give that statistical information about the appropriate cities to the poor FSU women who are considering spending the rest of their lives with us in any of them.
Yes that would, I was just bored posting some stats.
I wont be traveling to Moscow anyhow so I still cant even see why I would even post that, Unless it gives guys A Small Idea they might want to select a different place to go if Traveling alone.
I grew up in a big city (Buenos Aires), I now live between two large ones (Los Angeles and San Diego). At least 50 miles from each of them.
I will never again be found residing in the middle of such monsters.
There is a happy, harmonious middle ground between extremely large cities with a frantic pace of life and its ensuing crime rates and the desolation/isolation of UncleBuck's eastern Texas or Tradman's village of 150 people.
For reasons it took me a while to figure out, I simply did not get along well with the vast majority of FSU women from large cities like Moscow, St Pete or even Kiev.
Only one woman from St Pete held my interest out of hundreds before I chose to visit Lena in provincial Siberia.
There is something to the so called "big city attitude or way of life" that did not quite mesh well enough with my adopted California laidback hedonistic lifestlye.
But unless the city where your woman lives is in complete anarchy or under military siege/attack or affected by some pestilence of biblical proportions I'd not discourage anyone from going.
Take precautions and use common sense, but GO!!

The most dangerous, life threatening moments I've ever experienced in my life invariably happened when there were few or no people around.
"The most dangerous, life threatening moments I've ever experienced in my life invariably happened when there were few or no people around" => so, you've tried to electric shock yourself:)
LOL, no self induced shock treatment, except by accident or negligence...zap zap zap
More like stepping on scorpion, getting chase by wild boar, falling overboard while sailing the caribbean easterly winds during the panama-negril run, drinking bad mushroom tea in the hills of northern jamaica or almost getting run over by a sleepy truck drivers on just about any south american highway of any country you can name, lol...
Izi has his beer-vodka adventures to tell his granchildren, lol...but I have a few of my own, as well..:))
I ride my bicycle to and through Laguna Beach 2-3 times a week.
u all got no fuckin idea how moscow is, hav u ever lived tere dat u can say its not dangerous??
well i did and i can say its sickkkkk its very very dangerous!! when u r in the middle of moscow its alright but still dangerous, but i wanna c u walkin in da ghettos of moscow at night or durin the day doesnt matter if u walk as a tourists through the suburban areas im sure u ll get punshed or stolen or killed . the most people who live dere got no money and no job so they gor nothin else to do.
every city is dangerous you have to always look after your life when away and not over drink etc which leaves you open. I had a friend killed a few years ago in Prague had a argument with a barman who over charged him the fight went onto the street where he was killed no body saw anything including the 'door staff' yet ive been to prague 6 times no problem
Im sure lots of tourists travel to Moscow all the time with no problems.
i have been in moscow twice and the friendlines and hospitality of people towards an englishman that was lost several times and couldn't speak the language was amazing.fluent english is widely spoken in central moscow.it has some quite smart bars.i have been in some very run down suburbs, but not like ghettoes.as for street crime you could be mugged anywhere, give them the goods and don't argue then you probably wont get hurt.have had some tuition in russian. hope to visit again this year. it's an awesome city.
"hope to visit again this year. it's an awesome city. "
Not really too bad. But not really a running conversation here as this guy picked up on the thread just one year and 9 days after the last comment. Pretty good considering that just six posts above, BRAT picked up on it 3 years after.
Would like to comment on the staistic regardin one weeks activities from Moscow (in 2005).
"Missing persons 64
Bodies discovered 95....."
That means they had a net GAIN of 31 people (bodies), per week (if this was a typical week). SO at least they are (were) FINDING more than they were losing. Thats got to be the result of great police work.
