I have been writing to several ladies and have tried this site and hotrussianbrides. I have been confused by some of the responses and have thought many times that I am not actually communicating with the lady in the picture. Do agencies ever just send email responses in place of the ladies?
Some of the things have concerned me is that I would send specific questions and the response email would be about something else entirely. I have also receive emails that look like they were written to someone else then patched to send to me. Do the ladies actually see the entire message? Do the ladies actually write the responses in most cases? Do agencies ever just send a response without the lady sending the response?
yes
yes
yes
Most of the agencies do that until the time when for some miracle reason the lady in particular may find you worthy on direct communication with you.
Is it worth spending weeks or months when there are scores of other qualified, willing and able women in FSU?
Some here say it is.
I say it's not. Call me callous and cold hearted.
Some believe what the agencies tell them.
I do not.
Some believe there is one true 'soulmate' out there for them.
I do not. We get out a relationship with a person we choose based on what we put it and are willing to risk to get it.
Trust me , they do it all the time.Dating and marriage agencies are the fastest growth industries in the former FSU.Replies coming back to you whether they are genuine or not keeps the business going. Fiance.com has no way of knowing if the replies are genuine or not. I have friends in Kyiv who formerly worked for these agencies and they admitted to me it does happen because they were told that was their condition of employment even though they did not like to do it. I had an agency in kyiv barred from this site because i proved it to be so. When they cannot answer your direct questions and they start the letter by calling you Dear Ahkmed instead of Dear jeff which happened to me is time to move on . There are some legitimate agencies out there but you have to go through a lot of bullshit to find them. Remember this is not the only site these women are posting. Capitalizing on middle to upper aged lonely men who cannot get no action with photos of beautiful young ladies is indeed a great and good business venture.
Let me tell you a story.
Once upon a time there was a beautiful woman called Carina. She wrote a letter to a handsome English guy called Steve. He was impressed that such a beautiful lady would write to him and so he wrote back. Many emails changed hands. He sent flowers. The picture wasn't 'quite' as attractive as the one on Fiance. Still she was attractive. They conntinued for several more weeks the emails getting more down to details. It looked a little promising. Imagine the Englishman's surprise when he got another email from the same lady but attached to a profile that had a different picture and ever so slightly different details. The email was an introduction - again - as if he had never met her. Upon investigation with the queen at Fiance.com it was discovered that Carina had registered with 2 agencies. They both contracted with Fiance. Thus 2 profiles. The evil agency was sending out emails to any prospective man on Fiance on behalf of Carina. Steve was pissed and it contributed to he and Carina going their separate ways.
Then they did not live happily ever after.
Thanks guys. That is what I thought. Any thoughts on knowing for sure whether you are communicating with the lady in the picture or someone sitting at a desk in some agency somewhere? I feel like I have wasted time exchanging messages with someone other then the lady I am trying to get to know. This plan can never work if you can't really exchange messages with the lady in the picture.
Any tips or tricks for getting to know if it is a real exchange early in the process?
There is absolutely no way to know if the lady you are writing to is writing her own reply. There are no real tricks or tips my friend. An agency employee with good english skills is more convincing than one who has inferior english skills. If Olegney our resident member begs to differ he is full of shit. You can check if she is real . Of course her photo and passport number are real and contact information, but it does not indicate she is the one writing her reply. I had four ladies from Kyiv two Marches ago who could not wait for me to step off the plain. In fact their hearts were fluttering they wrote to me. When i contacted their agency and gave them a flight number and arrival date, every one all of a sudden had a change of heart or found another man in one weeks time. Like i said this is a business . I hope this answers your question again. Good luck.
Soccer,
It took me several months to wise up to the agencies games and I finally included in my profiles phrases like "...Please do not contact me if after the first initial introductory letters you're not able or willing to maintain direct private communication with me outside of agency correspondence. I will not be interested.."
Low and behold all kind of women with private e-mails started to pop out of nowhere.
mike,
so what if she answers the door and has her picture taken . it doesnt mean jack.So what if her passport and contact details are real ? Does not mean she is the one writing her repliies. Only time will tell.
Thanks for all the great replies to my questions. I have only been attempting this for a short while so I guess I still have a few more things to learn. I have a couple of more questions. After posting my profile I received an email on my personal email from a lady who said she used an agency to forward a message to me directly. She said it cost her a lot of money but she did not have a computer and wanted me to write her at an address she gave me. Her picture was beautiful but I did not even have her last name with the letter. I doubted it was a real communication. I had heard there were scams out there and thought this might be one. Is such a communication a scam or can these ladies get your personal email address from an agency and have them forward a message directly there rather then through the site to which you subscribe?
I also had a lady after just a couple of short emails profess I was the man of her dreams and that she was in love with me and thought of me all the time etc etc. I thought that could not be real as we hardly knew anything about each other. Do you guys know of any ladies from FSU who have genuinely fallen in love from email exchanges?
If I finally find a real lady, and not an agency letter writer, to start exchanging emails with me and I go to meet her how much time would I have to plan to spend there to really cement the marriage and relationship. Are multiple trips necessary or do these ladies pack up and agree to go after a single visit?
Anyone know the success rate for these types of marriages?
Again--I shadow Izi`s story. And it is a current story. An agency that deals with fiance.com has sent my girl`s stats and profile here, and she claims to know nothing of it. Also--you CAN know if the writer has changed hands. Grammar and Syntax changes with every writer. If you have been given basically correct grammarizations in a letter, then suddenly, her usage forms of pronouns changes,it is a good sign that the writer has changed. For example -writing "it" instead of him,or as a possessive pronoun, writing Me does,or Me thinks. The changes are slight, but noticeable. The color or disposition of the letter will also change, and they will become more given to simple amenities,or the verbage will be flat and lifeless. " At you work good is? " Instead of what "she" formerly wrote-"Is all good at your work?" Also, you may be given the same story twice in different variations,or she may ask the same question more then one time in just a week. There are supposedly 10 levels of fluency, and only if her fluency matches the agency will you not know. There could also be her friends who collectively cojoin to help her interpret and respond.
SoccerDad, agency ARE NOT SUPPOSED to write to you without ladies consent. Ladies must know that agency sent you letters from here. if you see canned letters , email to admin@fiance.com. we will investigate, and may close access to the site for that agency. also. on this site you do not pay per letter if you are VIP member. and you do not pay per letter to open it. so you always see who is writing to you and what. so if you see canned letters just ignore them, and report to admin. if you are Premium member you can send unlimited messages to ladies with own email.
Soccer,
There is only one effective way to eliminate agency BS.
Eliminate ocrrespondence and contact with anyone who does not have direct e-mail.
Give it a try for a few weeks or a month on fiance and eastwestmatch.
I guarantee you will still get lots of responses as long as you're NOT a hairy toothless troll, have a stady job and write a fairly appealing profile.
Oleg's suggestion is effective but overly timne comsuming...you're here to meet women, not to police and report suspicious correspondence.
I dont think any normal minded woman is going to agree to move out of her country on just one meeting. Thats kind of stupid to me. Its also a pretty good laugh when I read about these guys that are so dam paranoid about agencies. Give me a break. There are good agencies and bad ones. you have to weed them out and its really not to difficult.
SD, nobody is going to fall in love with anyone just through correspondence. You can develop close feelings but love, I dont think so
SD, I went many times and probably spent 2 months with my wife in Russia before she came. We have been married a little over a month. Its not long but we are happy. You could ask Glad, hes been married over a year already and I'm pretty sure they are still very happy
I want to echo what Toad has said about agencies. They are trouble.
Example
Marinas name shows up on 2 different sites in Ukraine. They are in the same building. She has never heard of them. They stole her details and posted them. Then they charge $8 a pop for anyone to get her email address. It is dead but they do it anyway. Do you know how much $8 is to a Ukrainian? :)))
Speaking directly is much better. There was a ploy if a woman quickly gave you her email address and she seemed to be waaaay out of your league that she was a scammer. I don't agree with this at all. If she is Russian and shows up on Yahoo Personals and does that absolutely. The mere fact that she is on Yahoo means she/he is a crook.
I am tired of writing here so I will bid adieu for now and I thank everyone for your input and in some cases sympathy. No need for it I am good to go. I have said my piece and it has helped clarify things in my mind. Special thanks to Annika and I am not being fecicious. Very revealing. I am going to write to the 399 that Toad left hanging. :)))
