I have been on a diet and recently send my sweetie a picture, she indicated true concern that I am losing weight. She says she does not like a thin man, well I am not thin, in fact I have a bit to loose before I consider myself semi-normal. What has been your experiences with the desires of FSU women; I want to look my best for our first meeting. The details: I'm 5'2" and built like a fireplug, now I am just a bit of a smaller fireplug but still husky.
Trust me, oh squidly one, this is not something that is confined to the vertically challenged. I run a hair over five seventeen, and have about forty pounds of lard to put over the side.
40 pounds on a 6'5" frame is very little, put that on a 5'2" and it looks worse. nevertheless, any ideas what the FSU ladies like, is my sweetie unusual
I have read two anecdotes, from the horizontally challenged, to the effect that their sweethearts are casual about a man's weight only until such time as the little woman is settled in. They admire strong healthy men. You might find yourself put on a diet. No bad thing really, wouldn't you say? On the other hand, the Russian diet tends to be calorie-rich. Seems like a contradiction.
Do what I did. Travel through SE Asia, catch amoebic dysentry. The pounds will fall off.
I can't say anything about all FSU ladies, but my lady is always telling me that I'm too "slim." I'm 6'1", 185lbs, and work out all the time, so "slim" is not a word that is often used to describe me. I can only assume that she feels I should be heavier, as she is always trying to fatten me up on bliny, potatoes, deserts, etc...
I wonder if there is something in the collective unconscious of Russian women that makes them want to fatten up their men. After surviving a revolution, the Soviet state, a war, a famine, and an economic collapse in the past 100 years, for a man to have some body fat, and therefore a better chance of surviving a catastrophe, may be more culturally accepted than here in the West.
Incidentally, I saw some low-carb wine at the store the other day. What's up with that? Even wine has to be low-carb???
Yes ditto Vn
My fiancée has put 4 kilos on me in last 6 weeks and wants more to go on.
It could also be because all the rich men here are very round / telly tubby.
I think it is their minds that a man with a good tummy has a good lifestyles and enjoys the luxuries of life.
It depends on a woman:) I, for example, don't like big men...I see big men just like my friends, but dating or getting married with one...not for me:) I like slim men:)
Yes my boyfriend alsogot some kilos, since we started living together, but as he is very tall and he was even skinny, he looks much better now:)
After seeing pictures of my excecise room my lady asked that I eat more if I feel the need to excercise, she would not want me to get to skinny. I'm 5' 11" and 210 pounds, certainly not skinny.
I just discovered this thread and I love it. :))
I am also 5' 11" and I weigh about 217 it keeps fluctuating. I have a little stomach that hangs over my belt and I am very self conscious of it. I watch what I eat and drink and exercise. However I can't lose that 20 pounds to save my life. I will keep trying though because I don't like it. I am even contemplating a trip to Colombia for lyposuction.
However Marina loved the way I looked and constantly tried to feed me. It is definitely a way to show how much they love you. I have absolutely no problem attracting these ladies. And I have not lied in my photos. My pictures depict me in reality. Even my studio shots. That really is me. I have one that clearly shows my excess stomach and nobody seems to mind. Even American women. Incidentally I have been geting attention from them lately that worries me. :)) Mustn't lose focus. :))
Likewise about baldness. I am getting a little thin on top. Nothing serious but it is there. I have had a second transplant at the end of April and it is starting to grow in now. Soon I will be fine again. Doesn't look bad now. I have talked to several FSU women and they love bald men. So Nor was right. Incidentally he is another one that dropped off the face of the Earth.
My boyfriend's mother always says to him, she is a anaesthetist, "if you will gain weight, I will be very sad with you, and will do everything I can to make you lose it"...she once explained me, what health problems a person may have if he weights too much...and I became very scared, have to admit.
