Just wanted to know why verifying payment status remains on my account for more that 24hrs. You accept visa as a form of payment and as far as I know transactions conformation are done via telephone or Internet connections. Do you use other means of doing that? On the same topic, I have received e-mail with request to submit my home telephone number for payment verification. First time in my life something like that happened. You have my name, address, card number why additional info would be required. Some explanation would be greatly appreciated.
Hello Gulliver, imagine some person. Somehow he got your credit card information. Maybe you purchased something at an unsecure website, maybe someone decided to avenge you in some way. He pretends that he is, in fact, YOU; creates an account and puts all your info (information should be yours, because otherwise credit card won't be charged, also some verification could be done by customer service to ensure the match between address and the name of the person who placed the order), so he puts all YOUR information, of course YOUR phone number (because phone number can be tracked) and HIS email address (he must receive emails). Well after that this hypothetical fellow just goes to the website and voila...Your credit card is charged. Impossible you say? What makes you think so? After all, your billing address is printed on your credit card. And that is the only requirement for the ability to create a false account. Ok let's continue our story....you see that your card was charged, and , since you did not order anything, you do chargeback. The company loses money. I've seen, and heard, many people, who were simply stunned when the heard that they sent something to Russia for the large amount. What could I explain them, "Well your credit card was used from somewhere in Denmark, thanks god we are able to cancel the order before it was delivered, and also thank god now you know that you should change your credit card, but we WON"T be doing such verification calls again; just because some people demand that we DON't.". Really, there's a lot of fraud in the internet.
I was tryiong to pay with visa but my transaction were rejected. Why could be the reason? I am trying to do it from Spain... this could be one reason?. Our accounts are in € and your transactions in $.
please be sure to enter the correst billing address and CVC code.Transactin was rejected because of some mistakes, it doesnt matter where you live and whats your national currency, because the payment systmen will convert it into dollars. If it doesnt work-please call our administrator and choose other way of payment.
