Olga i have been writting a young lady of the name elena belasik of luhansk for over one year and yes i have been sending her money to pay for the net cafe and translation of letter well for a few months i could not write her because of bill i had here so i finaly got cought up and sent her same money so she could write me and i have got three letters from her.last week was the last i heard from her or Olga are translator.I have been to Luhansk last year and did meet her and her mom and olga the translator and everything seemd to be on the up and up.I know in the past there has been time we didnt have the money to pay the bill at the net cafe but olga would let me know in a short note.Know i dont even get anything from her.What should i do? Have you done a 'full header' check on her emails to you, does, something like, 'cci.lg' appear in the full header? Be careful not to scamed by these two ladies. It would be usefull for many people! gene4u Member send PM   block PM add to buddies Send: 7/16/2006 5:45:19 PM   Hi Alex, Well all it started when i posted a add on western men web site.Yes i was looking for love in another counry hopping to fined true love and a soulmate,Shortly after i posted this add i had got some letters from women in Russia and the Ukraine but none that whent more then two or three letters.Then on day i check my mail i fined this young beautiful lady from Luhansk had writtng me so i wrote back thinking i would not hear back.the next day i get a letter from her again WOW thing girl is niterested in me.So we wrote a few more letters then i get a letter from the net cafe saying that Elena needs to pay for her writting and translator fees.I was a little shocked because in her profile it said she spoke English and that showed me she lied to me.I wrote back and ask why she had a profile that says she dose speek english and why dose she have a bill at the net cafe? i got a reply from Olga the so called translator saying that i should not be a problem that she dose not speek english and that Elena makes vary little money and wants to go on writting to me.So being a good person i flet that no it dose not matter that she dose not speek english and i can help her with this bill at the net cafe.Well things seemed to be good and i felt so much love from these letters from her and i know that her birthday was soon comming so i asked her if she would like me to come to Luhansk to meet her and be with her on her birthday.So in August of 2004 i went to the Ukraine to meet her.Well i did meet her and Olga at the airport and she seemed to be vary happy to see me.I stayed 10 days there and i realy injoyed the city of Luhansk.I never got to spend time with Elena alone and Olga was always with us and i had to pay 8 $ per hour for Olga that translator. I felt that Olga did not want me to be with Elena by my self.We did have a good time and i was taken by Elena's beautie and wanted so much to have her in my life so i ask her if she would like to come to the states soon and get married. She said yes.So when i returned home we went on with writting and missing eachothere and yes i was still paying her why to write me and translation fees.Then i was geting all the papers done for her visa to come her and then she said that she would need 5000$ first and this would be the only way because that is what her x-husban wanted from her to so she could bring her child with her.I did not know what to think of this and there was no way i would send that kined of money.So i got to thinking what is realy happing here.Well i had some help from some friends and that is when i found she had so many new profiles of her self on the datting sites and when i asked her of this she tryed blaming me that i was looking for othere women and i know then that i was scamed and it must end and she know that i had found the truth about her and it had ended.I want to thank my friend Doug how found Elena's profiles and my freind Alexander that did some looking around for me there in Luhansk.So be careful all that are looking to fined love on the net and look for what is real and not what you see with your eyes. She was writing to me for four mounts and telling me that I am the only one she want and after I find out after that she make that with other people . So because I trust her I been send cash for the school and I see that after she make same with other boys . So I think that she is only interesting in the cash and not for the relations she tell the people . As I read your story a couple things kept jumping out at me. My nature is to be cautious. Olga hanging around all the time and paying for her letter writing and translator would have sent signals to me. Of course you were in love....it is true, love can blind you....hard to see the forest from the trees. Good luck with your well paid for lesson on life. I know I have learned a few. I guess there is no stopping the growth of scamming I have seen over the past couple of years. As long as there are plenty of guys who send money for these bullshit reasons then I guess the scamming business will continue to grow. I'm not going to rip on these guys because I was new to this once too and maybe I would have fell for it. The bottom line guys is to never pay for letter writing in any form. Its just a cash cow for agencies and the girls and interpreters that work with them. Keep spreading the words of wisdom to any forums you can find guys. I have just had to end an eight month relationship with a RW who I thought I had a future with. All these RW have nothing to lose by putting their profiles on the internet, but so so much to gain. It is a minefield of scams and golddiggers out there, and this is not just confined to the FSU. It is human greed. It is a shame that it ruins the chances for those women who are honestly looking for a marriage, but while we send money out to these women, they will take full advantage. There was a former member of this forum, who was extorted in the same way. The only difference, the father of his now wife went and had a chat with the ex husband about trying to extort the american so he could bring his child to the states. $5000 seems to be the common number these men ask for. Funny I could never put a value on being a father. Let alone give up my parental rights for any money. So that extortion is a reality in the FSU. As for any scam, most are variations on a theme. But if you don't send money, you can't get scammed. The reality is, you really don't have much until she actuallys steps off the plane on your home soil, or you move to her country. Common sense will always prevail here. Mike00, why not spend some time at the internet cafe, maybe a few hours each day, write to 20 guys who might send you 20-50 bucks each month. Hell you really don't have to find legitmate work. It's guys with the mentality that it's only 20 or 50 bucks a month, so no big deal for me mate, that keeps this scamming going. I think I'm going to go on late night TV in Ukraine, and sell my course on how to work for 4 hours a day and make 1000-2000USD's a month right from your own home computer or internet cafe. Talk about the real home based business.
