I know many of you have been sucessful in bringing your lady to America. I am curious, did you do it yourself? Or is a lawfirm the best way to go? I am reading that now a k-3 visa has changed and takes less time than it used to. Any law firms to stay away from, or good ones to recommend? Thanks Bob
I dated my girlfriend for three years, traveling back and forth to Russia twice a year, speaking with her almost every day on the phone and we would also email each other. After three years we decided to marry, it took over a year to get her the fiancée visa, I hired a local attorney for the paperwork. It was a very long process in which she had to travel to Moscow several times for interviews with the American Embassy. I don't think I would ever try to do it myself, I would always use a law firm.
Unfortunately, after she got the visa, she changed her mind and stayed in Russia....She could not leave Russia to live in the US, even after she always said she would.
I think she just liked having an American boyfriend that would visit her and pay attention to her.....
But, I have not let this stop me from looking again! I have already found another girl and we are building our relationship.....
