I am heading to Auckland to meet my Kiev Fiancée on Friday. So I am one very happy man. It has been very hard work and very time consuming and there has been times I wanted to throw the towel in. But I am glad I persevered and won. Go for it - do your homework - don't fall in love with a picture - Don't stay forever behind the keyboard. If you want the stunning looking girls forget Ukraine and Russian woman . It will eventually Fail... All you will get here is biased comments from men who are either naive or people who are affiliated with fiance.com...Sure it will be heaven for a few years. But you listen carefully to what I say. The reality is this.. 1/ Your Ukrainian girl will not stay in Australia. Bring her back and after a while you will remember my words. Despite the economic problems in ukraine they still know how to live. Your lady will immedietely be confronted with homesickness and nothing will solve it. And she will want to go back. 2/The Myth that Ukrainian girls make great wifes blah blah is bullshit. Sure some might but in general most Ukrainian girls have a lower work ethic than Australian. They just want to sit back on a beach , be spoiled 24/7 ... Thats generally the story with most europeans, 3/I went to ukraine with 5 mates. We all eventually got girls back to Australia. None of us still have ukrainian girls and we all are happy because of it now.. The cultures are too different and the problems that you will put yourself through is nightmarish.. 4/Despite the bullshit stories you hear "russian woman want to leave because men drink , want a good man etc Its crap there are many "good men" in Ukraine. Mark my words they want to escape for 2 reasons... And none are related to you. Economic escape , more opportunities via green cards. What pisses me off about forums like this is you only get people with one side of the story . i see a lot of people giving out just positive stories. But nothing forewarning any negative. And believe me 99% are negative..Maybe all the negative posts get all filtered by fiance.com.. oh well mine will probably dissapear as well.. Ok if you want to believe other people tahts fine. I have nothing to gain from this myself. Im telling you that you are making a huge mistake. TRhis is of course based around the fact that you want a sexy russian girl. maybe the odds are better if you want some average woman ... And when I read posts from men here who are getting involved with russian woman with kids then surely you realise what sort of men these men are? Im like you dated sexy woman in aus and in Ukraine.. Marriage is a compromise, a massive compromise of minor points that make a joint union. For myself, I hold on tight to my personal ethics, my personality and my foundation values: these I change for no-one. But my fashion, the color or my teeth, the location of my home, my work schedule, etc-all these I change for my new family. She is only a friend. She earns plenty to live and yet is seeking a guy from overseas. She loves Ukraine but is looking for love not a free paycheck. Yes there are women who want an economic escape route and I would be stupid and naive if I did not think that the lady I am seeing is not factoring that in. However for reasons that I do not want to go into it is not the main reason. She is looking for a husband and a family. She has little chance where she is. So we are trying to put this together. I raised two of my own children and three step children; I love each and every one of them even though I am now divorced from my previous wife. Every one of them completed school, attended college, etc on my dime and I am damn proud of my successes and I have learned from my failures. All my children are now adults. Now, lets talk about my future son. This will be my first boy, my other children were all girls. I am as excited to have a son as I am to have my new wife. We will play computer games together, we will play ball, I will teach him to drive, we will talk about girls, and I will be his father.
