And it's only October 7!!! Attention to all travelers to Ukraine. Ask your travel agents if there is an independent heating system in the room that you are going to rent. Also, don't forget to take some warm clothes with you. One more thing... It's stupid tradition in Ukraine to do everything in the last moment... and the city government is fixing the water system and is trying to do it before the frosts. So, we have some problems with water even in the center now!!! Sorry, that I am so pessimistic... just don't like these cold times during the autumn... Going from florida to Belarus, it is going to be so good to have some snow and cold weather. You are correct, heat is not yet on in Belarus, not till Oct 15; I feel for my family-it has to be cold in their flat. Or even later. I remember this very good, because every November we get together in the University to celebrate one holiday, and usually some days before or later it, the heating in the flat is turned on. So be prepared that the heating may be turned on only in the beginning of Novermber.
