I lived and worked in Russia in 1994/5. There I met a lovely lady and we married soon after. Life was bliss, Katya took care of the home and I worked. I had no trouble getting her into NZ, a formality really. And Katya settled down here well with a few glitches. She spoke some English and learned more quickly.
In 1998 Katya and I returned to Moscow the sort out her mothers possessions after her mum's death. Because of work I had to return home early and left Katya behind. The day before she was to fly back here she was killed in a car crash. I had a very big hole in my life and withdrew into my own little world.
I am now making contact with another Russian lady and hopefully things work out for me.
Thanks for listening to my waffle.
You have suffered of a lost one very lamentable, now you have the opportunity to get up again, don't lose the vision of the life, my best desires and that soon you are standing again.
They are not the nicest, but I dont find them insultive. The preson had his oppinion. If the other members consider those postings unapropriate-no problem I'll detele those. just thought that may be other forum members would like to talk to this person themselves.
I'm sorry to hear that you tragically lost your wife through a car accident. That must have hurt like hell.
I always find it difficult to talk to people who have been through what you have been through so please excuse me for keeping this short - I don't mean to be rude, I just prefer to keep out of emotionally sensitive subjects.
I wish you good luck with your new Russian friend and I hope things work out well. Remember to take things at a pace you feel comfortable with. Rushing into something too quickly could stir up old feelings and memory's which may cause you more pain.
i find it abit tactless of Ronnie to reply to a thread about a tragicloss that happend about 1yr ago, with the only redicules line: "i don`t believe you!". ok he doesnt believe him, and maybe it isnt true. but IF its true then it is unncesesary reminder and just kinda rude(not helpfull atleast) to just give a stupid line like that. this incident happend 1yr ago, best is not to bring it up just to let a person be able to greed over it once again.(atleast with a "i think you are lieing" response. but ok...
just seems that Ronnie could be alitle bit more tactfull and stop replieng with short oneliners that is of no good use.(seems like he has done some of them in the latest threads).
