A nice and safe city that just completed a make over for a big celebration. From Moscow I flew using Tartarstan Airlines...very reasonable price. They fly from Sheremetyevo 1 airport and Domodedovo airport. I was told the train would be overnight...I think 12 hours, but maybe there is a faster train also. I think the air flight was a little more than an hour. The airport is a surprisingly long taxi ride from the city. Visit the Kremlin and the "pyramid". I had a good meal at "Meat kick".
