I apologize for covering what is probably old ground but really need some help. I have tried searching the archives but have had no luck.
I am trying to get from Newark airport to Moldova. I have searched expedia, etc. and can not find a flight at any cost. I have traveled to Poland, Estonia and Ukraine no problem.
Jet to the rescue. He knows more about this than the rest of us put together. I think Jet is the resident Moldava expert. If I was going he would be the guy I would write to immediately so you are in good hands NJ
Can't discount the other Moldova specialists on this board. WorldTraveler, of course, offers great knowledge and experience, and there are others too who write from time to time
what i can give on support regarding moldova i will do with pleasure.
but being a citizen of germany i cannot say anything about flights from newark to chisinau or visa matters for invitation to the usa.
this is definitly jetīs job :-)
To fly from Green Bay to Chisinau (Northwest to Detroit, Northwest to Amsterdam, Air Moldova to Chisinau - and back, of course the same stops and airlines) costs around $1,150.
While that might seem to be expensive - keep in mind that Green Bay is sort of off the beaten path and a bit further less of a competive place for airlines to price tickets from/
I have never been able to find a ticket to Moldova for less than around $1,700, otherwise.
me to when i flew in may to chisinau it was almost 1800.00 but im looking to fly again on jan 1 so far i have found round trip to chisinau about 1200.00 but ill look somemore thx wt for info ill check into it hammer
But seriously folks....
In January/February is when I flew from Green Bay to Chisinau for $1,100. I've got to believe you can use the information provided to get a less expensive ticket - especially from JFK.
