numbers are the following 7(343)246 3348 and 7(343)246 6550. 7 is country code of Russia. maybe you should dial some numbers or + in front of country code to get to interantional lines?
Are you sure you want to call with your mobile? In the US you will get hit with a nasty phone bill at the end of the month. I would advice a prepaid phone card or a 10-10 number. Using a 10-10 number from the US I can call Moscow for $0.09 a minute.
why NOT phoning from a mobile? Costs a bit more, sure, but as long as it's just a call instead of a looooong discussion there's nothing wrong with.
Andy, just key in: +73432463348 and off you go.
The leading "+" is the international exit-code for a gsm (which you've got), the next few numbers are the country code (here the "7" leads you to Russia), and the remainder is the area-code (a leading zero always omitted) followed by the subscriber's number.
Why anybody would want to key in any other character than a number is beyond me, and if you've keyed in what you write above then of course you'll get an error.
Mind you, you need to be registered by your provider to have your number enabled (allowed) to make international calls, but I'm under the impression that European providers do that per default, ditto for roaming if on a contract (not pre-paid).
