They do not look bad. I am going there in January with a buddy who has stayed at the Ukraina. we would prefer the Ukraina since it is a known commodity, but have heard the rates have gone up significantly so we are looking for alternatives just in case. I have fired off some requests on the sites that list the Ukraina, could not find any rates listed online, they all want to e-mail back to you. If anyone else has info in this area, I would greatly appreciate your input. That is for several reasons, one is that the ladies very easily can get the word on them for being prostitutes... An other thing is that the hotels in fact refuse them to enter the hotel in the evenings to see you... I found this.... interesting description... of one such hotel, that I thought I would pass on to the members of the forum. "Ukraine hotel is located at Khreschatik St., in the very center of Kiev. It has 377 rooms with bathroom, TV, telephone. The guests can also use a sauna, a restaurant, a cage, a conference-hall. " Its got a CAGE for guests use! In Ukraine they have EVERYTHING! Hmmm. I wonder if apal can use it for the 12-yr old boys he seems so fascinated with. THEN he could score anyway (without having to spend $1,000 a night).
