Can people please give me their opinion on something.
I have been writing and receiving emails from a few ladies, one of which I have been writing to now for about a month and she seems really nice and we write good letters to one another.
Recently, another lady wrote to me and introduced herself. I have just received her third letter today and there is a long paragraph in her latest email there that is identical to the previous lady I mentioned word for word. They are both from the same town. Are they scammers or is there another explanation. Neither have asked for money or declared their love for me by the way.
It could be an agency, no ladies involved whatsoever, or it could be an agency, writing on the lady's behalf and trying to take a short cut by copy and pasting or, it could be a BORIS.
Robin, check the email 'full headers' for originating IP addresses etc.
Rob,
many agencies write form initial or even subsequent form letters in the ladies' behalf..and who knows for how long.
Try your best to have direct communications with them via internet messenger, phone of private e-mail to verify her existence.
Toad
Kiska maybe. Maybe they both tried the same tortoise meat:)) This is the paragraph in question. It is word for word from both ladies:-
Can you say that you are a person of risk? Do you like to risk? I think that being a risque person from one point confirms the fact that a person is very persistent in achieving his aim, from the other side not all people can accept risk. As for me, I am a rather a risque person, but not in questions concerning my close people life. You see, I am an open person.I always tell everything that is on my mind. If I do not like nothing, i can tell directly about it. I can be risque only in questions that do not touch my dearest ones.I can tell to my leadership that he is unjust in some point and confirm my point of view.I take risque at my work taking some important decisions, thus being responsible for my actions.Another risque things? You see, I am afraid of height. Six years ago I had a rest on the shore of the Black Sea. As you know the Black Sea is surrounded with mountains and tourist who come there often go to excursions to the mountains. There are wonderful and picturesque places there. Most of all I was attracted by the waterfalls, in the place i was ( it is called Ashe) waterfalls are very high.It is an incredible picture. So, I went on excursion to the mountains and there was such picture: a bridge over the mountain river, the water swirling downside with speed and a height I am so afraid of.I still dared to cross this bridge, but the time I was doing it turned out to be an eternity for me. I also ate unusual for our cousine food( also some kind of risque), although i did not know what i was eating at first. I was present at the birthday of my friend and there i ate soft white meat, I thought It was a chicken, but You cannot imagine my surprise when my friend told that it was tortoise meat!
Robin,
Please learn about 'canned' letters, that paragraph is 100% bullshit and seeing that the Black Sea gets a mention please tell me that you are not writing to ladies in Lugansk or Donetsk!
A personal letter will answer your questions, you must ask questions to establish that the response is not canned and it should mention your name more than once and not just at the top of the letter.
Martin - how do you obtain the IP addresses when the emails are written through the website? I get notifications that I have received replies in my email client which is Outlook. BTW, thanks for the feedback.
Now there comes the problem with online, rather than email, communications. 100 ladies could be writing to you from the same computer and you will have no idea.
No doubt fiance.com believe, or will lead you to believe, that they have the best product since sliced bread but I, for one, beg to differ.
Ask each of the ladies for their email addresses and if they refuse then they are either imprisoned, handcuffed, by the agency, in cahoots with the agency or they simply don't exist.
Martin, don't write off all the ladies of Donetsk. It would disappoint my wife greatly. Imagine all these years and she suddenly finds out she's a scammer. Oh the shame!
